I agree Luke Young should not be captain - he's trying too hard and I think he would be better with the responsibility of captain taken from him. It was a big ask for a young player in thd first place. I'm as angry as anyone at tongiht's defeat but i put the blame firmly on the manager for his team selection and total lack of a game plan.
I agree I think Middevon was a bit frustrated last night when he wrote this :keepie:

....but I would say he showed more passion on the night than most of the team....so give him a break....he really is a nice chap <3

Yep - I can fully understand MidDevon's frustration last night and I'm sure, as you say, he's a really, really nice bloke ..... ;-)

...so you're saying that eight out of 11 players on the pitch played OK in a 5-1 defeat? :-/

I'm getting pretty fed up with people saying how much work Ajala does just because he makes 2 or 3 lung busting runs to chase a winger each game. Most of the time he wouldn't have had to run at all if he was in his proper position I'm the first place.

I constantly see him as our second most forward player when the ball is 30 yards from our own goal, which is frankly unacceptable these days. He often doesn't bother to track runs or cover his full back. He was lying on the floor while Braintree scored on Tuesday, and was partly at fault for leaving Dawson exposed during the build up to chesters goal (or was it Telford?)

All of this would be more than fine if he was actually doing anything going forward, but the guy flatters to deceive big time. His end product is non existent since Christmas, constantly running into blind alleys,no crosses or goals to speak of. It's only the fact Briscoe can't play wide and Cameron has decided he's not a footballer that keeps him in the side.

No - I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is that I wouldn't accuse those players of not showing commitment. In fact, I'd also include Richards in there, making nine players. I wouldn't say anyone played o.k. although Campbell had a much better game than against Telford. I may have seen the game differently to most fans who were there because I wouldn't describe it as a humiliation. Yes - Braintree were the better side but at 2 -1, we were still well in the game. In my opinion, the killer was the third goal. After that, we disintegrated big time all over the pitch and that was not acceptable. Credit to Braintree for five excellent finishes. You may well say I'm being too generous to the players. We'll see how they perform tomorrow against Kiddy.
