What next? A sub-1000 gate for the first time since 1986, that's what.

Let's face it - even if we chalk up an impressing winning streak from now until the end of the season, it won't really matter. The pressure is off the players as we have nothing to play for. It's a similar feeling to last season. We were all but relegated long before the win at Mansfield. When the pressure is off we do ok but when it comes to crunch we often bottle it.

Limp dicks that can't get it up for a Wembley gig will now suddenly become full on rigid for an end of season spurt?

The games are bad but this forum has livened up, it's been dead on here for weeks one defeat and it shows all of us care about Torquay United. A few weeks of good results will change all of us but the lead has got to come from the manager as he needs to get his finger out :keepie:

Exactly. Some posters are claiming that these next 13 games are crucial so we can see which players are worth keeping for next season. But as there's no pressure on them, how much are we really going to learn? Cameron was on fire at the end of last season when the pressure was off but has been poor this season apart from the first few games. He's not the only one. I want players who will stand up when the chips are down and run through brick walls but I don't see that with the current crop. We need more characters of Hargreaves' ilk on the pitch and a proper manager in the dugout ;-)

Love him or loath him, Brucie tells it as it is from his viewpoint.

The return of goodwill that came to support the 2nd leg of the semi-final has definitely gone for the rest of the season.

The collective clusterf*ck controlling the club need to go.

Thea is the damsel in distress and KT comes riding in. I know KT by many names including Kelvin Thomas. Wishful thinking, miracles and fairytales only happen in reality when real boots on the ground make then happen.

Be careful of what you ask for, unless you wish to receive it.

Momentum on the pitch will count for nothing if half the squad go at the end of the season. The Board room needs a clear out but any fresh blood coming in need to not only have capital but also a good work ethic and a desire to improve the club both on and off the pitch. Take the pressure off Thea and let her enjoy her money.

CH won't be going so he has some very tough decisions to make in the summer. He mustn't be fooled by any sudden surges in form. As others have said, playing well when the pressure is off means nothing. He needs to get rid and I'm hoping the scouting has already begun in and around the lower leagues. Check out the Conference South for decent players who can step up.
TUFC never fails to let its fanbase down.

27/08/18 - Time to step back from this shambles and focus on things in life that make me happy. TUFC doesn't.

I see we have been giving a Swansea under 21 international defender a trail this week. Possibly looking to keep him for a little longer.
Life is like TUFC. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. :goal:
