Well I am sure I have read on here your dislike of referee Brett Huxtable and after yesterday(Our fourth occasion of having this official) I have to say I totally agree with you. The first time in years that I have actually see a referee do an old fashioned dropped ball in our penalty area. Not once but twice in the game and the second time it was on the corner of the six yard box! Was totally incompetent throughout and seemed more interested in causing controversy than actually refereeing the game and seemed to do anything to stop himself having to run. Unfit and in all four games has seemed to favour the other team despite the facts he comes from the south west. I am sure it was Brucie who mentioned him earlier in the season and i have to say i now totally agree with him. Good luck next week, I tnink the goal you scored gives you a great chance particularly if you can get an early goal.

he is absolutely dreadful and enjoys abuse from the fans. just laughed when he sent players off against us

last season he only issued two red cards
this season in the two games we have had him, he has issued three!
he is from north devon so you would have thought he would more biased towards his local clubs.
the only time he seemed to be good was when you played gateshead on bt
also the only time he hasn't issued a yellow is when you played altrincham

FG - I have been around for more than a few seasons and Mr Huxtable is way up there amongst the worst refs I have seen. We have only had him twice this season and he was dreadful both times. The second time was when we played Barnet. He ruined what should have been a good game by awarding questionable decisions against both sides which turned it into a niggly match. What someone should tell him is that fans pay to watch a game of football - not the antics of a referee who is up his own a*se. As for Rovers, a narrow victory yesterday but the gap is closing fast ..... Costly home defeat for Barnet.

By the way FG - completely off topic - how is Josh Wakefield doing ? Is he seeing much action or spending his time as a bench warmer ??

Exactly as I predicted and as is usual with many of the players we have on loan..he has splinters in his backside!! He has only been on the bench every game since signing without a minute of play. I suppose with the results we hva e been getting it is understandable but so annoying.
