After yesterdays game I went to the Ticket Office to buy a ticket for the Boxing Day match v Bristol Rovers. It was CLOSED.
Could not buy on line as fixture is more than 21 days away.
Would it make sense to open the Ticket Office for I hour after every Saturday match so fans can buy a ticket(s) for future Home games.

I'd say yours is a pretty rare situation, so it wouldn't be effective for the club to open the ticket office after the game.
Maybe a reminder on the OS of the opening times, Andy?
