Fixtures

Post by brucie »

I know this has been mentioned before. I appreciate that we are in the Mickey Mouse League and the fixtures were worked out manually by a complete and utter moron, but really this is beyond a joke.

We don't get a home fixture for six weeks and now apparently play at home every Saturday.

Is it any wonder the crowd was sub 2000 yesterday as its the lead up to Xmas.

As well as that we have Halifax on a Tuesday night a fortnight before Xmas when this fixture should have been played in October.

Really the burke who compiled the fixtures should be relieved of his duties.

I also think I am right in saying that after Bristol Rovers on boxing day we don't get any other fixtures at home during the holiday period. What an absolute farce.

To be fair brucie the Xmas period is only a week or so. And we as you state are at home on Boxing Day, but equally an away match at welling is not a disaster. Then we have rovers away on New Year's Day, not a problem as it's our nearest away match. And we play Alfreton at home on Sunday 4th. I think we have a good Xmas fixture schedule.
