think I read elsewhere that communications kept being lost; so Breedy might have been fantastic, but for a while at least, nobody could hear him !

Why a fiasco? Along with Dave Thomas these 2 are the best commentators on Torquay matches. I only heard a few minutes of this game but when I have heard Steve and Chris before they have been really good.

1) A fiasco because Radio Devon dropped the link more time than the England cricket team drops catches!!


BUT..

You cannot be serious re Breed & Fleet!!

Whilst dear old Steve Breed sounds as though he is about to orgasm in his pair of over-tight trousers every time a Gulls player has the ball around the penalty area - Chris Fleet and his monotone Brummy accent sounds as though he is at a funeral at the local Crem!

And before anyone says "you try it then"... been there, done that, have the t-shirt - for local radio elsewhere.

Bring back the days of Richard Greene and Julian Gaunt I say!!, or maybe send the current pair on a commentators training course.
