Lovely tribute in the Herald Express for Geoff http://www.torquayheraldexpress.co.uk/T ... story.html

I'll sure miss him in the Union Inn on my next visit to Torquay :(

Just saw this today. A shame - Geoff was a genuinely nice guy who I remember well from my time at the Plainmoor bookies. Glad there was a nice tribute in the Herald.

Hi Guys
This was already noted on another thread. 4th minute I think you will find.
It was suggested that a minutes applause for Geoff and the other Young fan Jack Robinson would take place at the Memorial Stadium today. because of the number if remembrances It has been suggested that both the other two be done on the 4th minuted before the match. I had been in contact with Nick Day who is the announcer there and he has said he will support it but it has to go to the club for sanctioning.
as you all know the Minutes silence will also be held on the 6th minute past 3pm for Hillsbourgh so all fans attending will find all matches Kick off at 7 mintutes past 3pm.
Always Look on the bright side of life

We all will Erik.

My fondest memories of my mate go back to *Paradise Castle nights and Town Hall days when Bowie and Mud gigged there.
