I actually quite like the St Mirren shirt, especially considering someone might have put some genuine thought into it. It's also contains a rather lovely metaphor for those stupid stripes being set on fire. I feel sorry for anyone who has paid good money for the current shirt, but if we change it back to a decent design, I will not be upset.

As an aside, I particularly like the new Fulham home shirt and the new Celtic away shirt.

Now if you want generic, look at the Rochdale home and away kits. Now that's generic!
Luke.

Like many, I voted for the striped shirt and bought a couple of them, I'll be a bit peeved if I have to buy another this season, but I'll buy one either way. I guess we just await news from the club.

I keep seeing a thing about Adidas and £750m. Not sure if it's relevant...

I think it's about time Adidas saw the value of our kits, but I do think £750m is a bit excessive. I can't wait to see our new signings, Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw strut their stuff at Plainmoor. Arturo Vidal would be a great signing for us too.

Wait...

It's the other, smaller United?

Damn.

Seeing as we're talking about a bigger scale, I thought I'd mention the Atletico Madrid 3rd kit. Think it'd look really smart as a Torquay kit with our shade of blue, of course.

If there is a new kit and Joma are making it then I hope they do a better job than they have done with Excreta's kit!

Not sure, the white panel on the red shirt looks quite nasty, like a sticker. Have just ordered a new kit for son's football team and the Joma products available look cheap and made down to a price and always seem the ones left at end of season and hugely reduced. I bought Nike, but then I wasn't paying for it!

Does anyone know when we are going to get the grand unveiling of the new kit. We must be the only club in the land who dont have what we are wearing next season on display. Surely it is best to put it out there as soon as possible from a merchandise point of view. Is it some big thing that they want to hold off on until the last minute just to torment us, or is it a we know something you dont know as usual, or are they so ashamed and embarassed of it they are delaying showing us the horror.

What other club would all of a sudden start wearing a strip from 2 seasons ago or 2 kits ago, with a big blue sticker splashed across the middle of it.

Are we waiting to wear it for our big, massive, prestige friendly against the league 2 giants Plymouth argyle?

I think some on here are being a little unrealistic in terms of timescales! Yes, it isn't ideal that we haven't got a new kit out yet but given that we appear to have changed supplier (never been confirmed officially yet though), which also means we will need to choose a new strip presumably as well and most importantly given that we only sorted out the new sponsor a few weeks back ... it is inevitable that these things take time and do not just happen overnight. After all it's not just as simple as popping into Sports Direct and buying them off the shelf!!!
