Error in the writing, says we're playing both Walsall and Yeovil on the 15th July, or am I reading it wrongly?

I thought that as well when I read it.

Perhaps we are playing them both at the same time to cut down on costs. Also it will be a great test for our players if they do well against 2 league sides with each of our players being double marked. After that, anything the conference can throw at us will be a doddle!!

I'm surprised we don't have a date against Bournemouth Reserves for a friendly yet. And by friendly, I mean, loanee trial game.

"THE Gulls will complete their summer schedule with a Devon derby at Exeter City on Saturday, August 2 – kick-off 3pm.
United have already pencilled in an opening fixture at local outfit, Totnes and Dartington, on July 9 before a trio of home games to really get the juices flowing for the new campaign.
Our most recent trip to face the Grecians at St James Park resulted in a fabulous 2-1 win on Easter Monday. Although ultimately not enough to save us from relegation, it was at least a happy memory for the summer months.
The Gulls are now looking for two more away friendly fixtures to complete the pre-season plan.
Pre-Season
July 9 - Totnes and Dartington v United
July 12 - TBC
July 15 – United v Yeovil
July 19 – United v Walsall
July 22 – United v Plymouth
July 29 – TBC
August 2 – Exeter v United"

I still think a 'prestige' friendly would have sparked a bit of interest and exposure at a time when we are deathly quiet. As it stands they are all good tests for CH and his squad but in terms of raising spirits they are way off the mark. I guess it's a case of what we want friendlies for, to get up to speed for a new squad or to get annihilated by a bigger and better side. I think given the silence it may have been wise for the club to have arranged a humdinger. Walsall will suffice though.
