Bristol rovers 4th minute

Post by tufctillidie »

Hi all.

Been a while since I posted on here :)

Some of you may of heard about little jack Robinson.

He was a 4 year old Pompey fan who sadly lost his battle to a brain tumour.

He had a bucket list he wanted to complete before he died, gladly he completed it.

His friends and family will be laying him to rest tomorrow, what my aim is posting on here is to ask all the fans going on Saturday to join in a minutes applause in respect for him.

As he was 4, it'll be on the 4th minute that we'll do it, a few fans that I know who are going are going to join in, hopefully I can get the rest of us to join in as a mark of respect and get a few chants going for him.

If this is in the wrong place, please move it, if you can stickie it for me that would be great.

RIP jack, you're with the angels now.

Matt

I'm sure that each and every fan who goes on Saturday will join in the mark of respect for the lad. I won't be at the game but I shall make sure I set aside time at 3.04 to think about this little lad and to think about others too, kids who aren't well and just hope they get better.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

You'll have to set it at 3.11 instead as all games are kicking off seven minutes late this weekend to mark the 25th Hillsborough anniversary.

Hi Guys. It has been put on Rovers board under applause for passing fans. I do hope Rovers fans respect it. From the many I know i think they will.

I think it wise now to note all the things happening at the Mem that day.

First Before Ko. hopefully we will be joining Rovers fans to remember the sad passing of Geoff Brett. The Landlord of the Union Inn in Plainmoor .
Second to that. at KO we will join in with the national rememberance of Hillsbourgh.
Finaly our fans will be marking the passing our Young Jack Robinson the Pompey fan at 4 minutes past KO. I do hope we all mark these minutes with the respect they deserve. Both Rovers and Torquay fans together and lets honour all Football fans.

Hi Guys.
Have checked the Rovers Forum today and there are quite a few replies. All seem very keen to join in with us. Respect to them for that.

Hi Guys
I have been in contact with Nick Day. The Match day announcer for The Memorial Ground. He has said he will do what he can to facilitate something but It has to go to the club and maybe even the FA They have to sanction and minutes Silence/Applause. Which to me seems ludicrous and if i may suggest a tad over the top considering it is private to our two clubs.

Trying to upload the video onto here, but it doesn't want to have any of it.

We managed to do it on the 4th minute and I want to thank all the Torquay fans that took part.

Take a look.

Many thanks.
