I'd much prefer it if his actions spoke louder than words. We have limited players, we don't create much let alone score goals and we are the Hyde of the football league. When you continue to plug away with the same players and the same formation and tactics for months and months when we had a great chance of escaping back in January is an absolute joke from anyone paid to manage experienced or not. Oh great, we need goals. Thanks for that mate. Next!

Quite telling though, when Matt rightly and frequently points out the difference that Reid makes for Plymouth and we have THREE players on the same wage as him.

It tells us all we need to know about how appalling our forwards have been. In any other industry they would be sacked for failing so miserably yet we have to suffer them for another year.

Not sure how he expects us to believe that when the game was saveable last week yet he removed our only threat as if he was in the "Phillips we need to go down camp".

CH is starting to worry me for next season now.

Response to the comments in the Herald from a "complete blockhead".

One, Scunthorpe had doubled and even trebled up on the 19-year-old who had caused them so many problems earlier in the match. - Surely that would provide more space on the pitch for other players to exploit? Is that not a good thing?

Two, Coulthirst was starting to tire at the end of his full League debut. - So as a young fit lad he would have been unable to complete the last 7/8 minutes of football having played for 85 mins with no evidence of extreme tiredness?

Three, it's at times like that when a player, especially a teenager, is more likely to be injured. - If you say so Chris/Herald reporter

Four, Hargreaves has a duty of care with Coulthirst to a top club where he is trying to develop a relationship for future signings. - Cop out

And five, he'd already lost his most experienced striker, Karl Hawley, with a broken arm, which makes Coulthirst's availability all the more important over the last five games of the season. - the only excuse that carries any validity

For me that piece in the herald is saying " don't be so nasty to poor old Chris it's not very nice"!!!

Just heard the commentator mention that Coulthirst is full of running at the end of the 90 minutes .

They also said he looked knackered and could hardly put one foot in front of the other...Wish they would make up their bloody mind which it is.....
