Im not sure exactly what the details of the signing were but definitely nowhere near the true value. Trouble is that youngsters are very often directed by their parents and if one of the big clubs come in then the rest of us stand no chance. I am sure from the last couple of years that whilst our Youth team have been very good yours also has done very well.
As regards Saturday week with our away record being the worst in the entire league we will definitely need to get some points from our home games. We have Mansfield last game and our other home game is against Rochdale so we could well need to beat yourselves and get at least a point or two from the rest. Will be very surprised if Northampton get to 50 points based on their current form but you never know with the unusual circumstances of this year where so many teams are within three or four points of each other and therefore there are more "six pointers" than ever known before. Our only consolation at the moment is that Northampton can win two games and they still won't overtake us.
Our home form has not been too bad so I hope we can hold onto that. I still hope you can stay up and send Wycombe down but you have to hit promotion form now I reckon to stay up.
As they say don't give up till the Fat Lady sings......but not at our expense!!

Indeed sad news. I well remember going to his pub earlier this season when the GAS were on TV. He tried his best to get it on SKY but couldn't.Both of us went up to Boots in the end and reminisced on days gone past while watching on the big screen. My thoughts are with his family.
RIP Geoff. You will be sadly missed. A true football fan.
