Loanee From The Greeks?

Post by Southampton Gull »

Some Greeks seem to think we're about to loan one of their players. They would be keen to get someone off their payroll considering their lack of revenue at present.

Anyone heard anything from our side?

That name was suggested to me as well as Gow. Could be nothing but was worth putting out there.

They've let Tommy Doherty go but don't think we would be interested in him.

They were genuinely considerably worse than us at Plainmoor. Regardless of their geography, I don't think they've got anyone capable of breaking into our first team.

Gow would be a ridiculously good signing. Surely not?

Gow would be welcomed at any League 2 club and probably most at League 1 level.

Official statement from Titsdale suggests that they can't afford to keep paying Gow, so they've shipped him out. What in God's name do these clubs spend their money on?

What is bringing more than a smile to face, is reading the greeks desperately trying convince themselves this Gow /Richards swap deal is ok, and that Richards is equal to, if not better than Gow.. :)
