Sadly no red card for an Oxford player yet. I would like to see Constable sent off if he is playing. Come on Charlton.
Lovely jubbly. Will be booking tickets tomorrow morning for the traditional 90 minutes of 'Come on you Yellows.'
Just a shame the weather put a stop to our new-found momentum last Saturday. Surely we'd have been gunning for a 3rd straight win.

Charlton, when I saw them earlier this year, were absolutely nothing special at all and were thoroughly outclassed by a Yeovil side who sit in the Championship relegation zone. I know the Cup is different and no, I'm not saying we're in Charlton's class, but a 5-0 aggregate loss to them in a game and a half really ought to give our boys some hope that we can go there and get at least a point. They're fine, I'm sure, for a dire L2, but we ought to be much closer to them than we are in the league table. This is not a match from which any of us, supporters or staff, should accept a narrow defeat as par for the course. Oxford, as per every side in L2 this year, are at a low ebb in their recent history (if they weren't, they'd be top by miles). We should head there full of cheer, in numbers and hoping for a close game with Torquay at least matching their opponents man for man.
Plus, you know, Andy in a skirt.

Northampton are chasing Chris Wilder to be their manager, though it looks like he'll still be in charge for Saturday's game against the Gulls: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25877982 . However, I wonder if this will have any disruptive effect on Oxford's preparations for the game.
BTW, how about making this the match thread...?

He announced his departure a week or so ago but it was cunningly disguised in a thesis about the oceans and the behavioural traits of fish!bixieupnorth wrote:wheres andy when we need him with his usual barmy ramblings, my OP doesnt deserve the title of official matchday thread!
Don't worry. When he says he is leaving, has he ever actually left? He'll be there today in his skirt, although I bet he cops out and disguises it as a kilt!
