FA Cup 3rd rd Draw

Post by hector »

Forgotten what it is like to be in it. Expecting Plymouth to get a money-spinning tie but hoping they get someone like Preston North End away.

Will also be watching Rochdale to see what we would have got if we'd beat them and Rotherham...

Also expect this thread to be moved to 'Banter Board and other football' as the FA Cup 3rd round is not Torquay related... :@

I wouldn't bother getting angry about who Rochdale get, we wouldn't have beaten fat man Evans although would have been nice!

Please let Plymouth get a sh*te away draw

End of day Plymouth have earned there place in round 3, we blew it. No bitterness just sadness of what could have been.

If they get a decent draw lets hope they'd have one eye on it on New Year's Day.

Why just one eye? Let's be honest we want them to have both eyes on Round 3! :~D

I know we are not in the third round this year. Come to think of most years. But can't say I am excited by the draw this year.
No huge mouthwatering minnow v premier league draws. No league two v prem draws either that I spotted. save for a possible Liverpool tie with Mansfield if Mansfield can dispose of Oldham who will be up for this one too.
The best we can see is a few championship ties v league two. it almost seemed fixed that Prem teams were either drawn mostly against each other or against championship teams. Can't get too worked up at all. Me thinks I will give this round a miss. :( :B :red:

Both eyes closed might give us a better chance of 3 points!!

Not too fussed about the cup now tbh.

This weekend was actually so refreshing because we didn't have a game. I think we'd all just got bogged down with the desperation of it all this last few months culminating at Scunny and this weekend to not even think about football much has been great. The break has been best all round for everyone concerned with the club I reckon.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Say that to a arsenal, spurs fan . As for being fixed , can you explain how?

Vale Park is known as the Wembley of the North. I'm sure they'll enjoy a Friday night trip there with Stoke getting drawn at home as well.

Please read my post properly. I definitely said "It almost seemed fixed". I didn't say it was fixed. I leave that sort of thing to Andy. he is much more forthright.
