Yes, I know all administration has a cost , and our football club being a very small business , has to strictly control and justify all it's costs.
However on the point of e-mails, I am a popside season ticket holder the club has my e-mail address, I was going to the Rochdale cup game regardless, so didn't bother to check the entry fee for the game, to my surprise and delight found out when I got to the game it was only £13 to go in, the point is I didn't know it was a reduced price game, how many others didn't know it was a reduced price game and maybe didn't go expecting to pay full price. I know it didn't effect me, also didn't know there was a special entry system for Bristow's bench season ticket holders either.
Being serious here, my computing skills as some know are very limited, how hard is it to create a generic e-mail and send out as a group e-mail to all contacts?
I also noticed that they are doing a Christmas Season ticket too. But on looking would I benefit. No! I bought the big 5 ticket. One of the matches is Newport which I have already. so I would lose the benefit of this match being reduced by buying a season ticket. I know I will miss one or two of the matches anyway so the season ticket is already not worth having for me. I suspect one or two others may well have missed the boat on this one.Southampton Gull wrote:............the club coming up with a good incentive to get some fans through the door. For one game only this Saturday, any fan presenting a current season ticket for any Championship or Premiership club can gain entry for £5 less than the normal price.
They also are planning a "Yellow Day" for Kingsteignton, glad to see them trying out some good ideas.
