Posted on BBC sports that Mansfield forgot to bring their away kit! I mean WTF!! We provided them our away kit had we not what would have happened ? Give us the win, fine Mansfield . So the club gave them our away kit, so did both clubs today field 22 players in torquay shirts(well 21 for abit)?

Mansfield picked up a point at Torquay after wearing the home side's away kit because they had left theirs behind.
The Gulls were unlucky when winger Billy Bodin hit the post with a left-foot shot from 20 yards.
Mansfield almost repaid their genrosity by snatching the points when Matt Rhead's looping header forced a fine save from Martin Rice.
Torquay's Krystian Pearce was sent off after pulling back Sam Clucas, but they held on to end a run of three defeats.

They didn't play in our away kit, they had their own. Must have been mis-reporting prior to the game

Their kit arrived shortly before the game, someone bought it down!

The facts, gentlemen:

Mansfield did forget their kit.
They did not play in our kit, but we did offer them that choice.
Their kit was brought down from Mansfield by a rough looking chap in a diesel powered Fiesta and arrived at 1440 today.

Typical BBC, just making up stuff and reporting total shit as usual. As for the idea that Mansfield "almost snatched it", having two piss weak attempts on goal in 90 minutes is not "almost snatching it".

Did they report that Rice's clowning about almost gave the game to Mansfield? No. It's a conspiracy.

Yep I spoke to the bloke who had raced down with their kit after the game boots and laces, whilst on the subject, didn't we once play in Mansfield's away kit at their ground after taking a kit which clashed with their's.

I remember we had to play in Bostons away shirt a few years ago so wouldn't be surprised if it happened to us at Mansfield as well!

I was once a mascot as a kid for Argyle vs Scunthorpe. Scunny didn't realise how much white Argyle had on their shirts so ended up having to play in Argyle's away kit and then proceded to beat them 3-1. It does happen, and sometimes is the last minute ruling of the referee who thinks the kits are too similar.
