Congratulations on New Online Ticketing System

Post by portugull »

In the past I have been critical of admin at Plainmoor. Today I purchased 5 tickets for November/December home matches and I have to say the system worked extremely well and my wife who is the IT person in the family was very impressed.

To Andrew Candy and all the team at Plainmoor I just want to say thank you for a job well done.

All we need now is an improvement in our beloved teams performance on the pitch!

Completely agree portugull. I was a big advocate of online ticketing and despite only using it once so far, it can only help in terms of buying tickets in advance.

Out of interest Andrew, how has the online ticketing been received? Has it shown an increase in sales or helped to bring money into the club quicker?
Luke.

Thank you both for your comments, much appreciated.
The new system has been well received and fans are now starting to use it more often. It is bringing money in which of course is very helpful but I like to think of it as providing a better service to the fans in terms of ease in getting tickets. I am very pleased that your experiences of it have been good.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Found it useful when I got my Portsmouth ticket though I do question the charge to collect tickets but easy to use :)

I've used it a couple of times although on one occasion my ticket never arrived so I rang the club and they sent me another which you can't say fairer. All round a really good facility for us. :scarf:
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

it's interesting that, with one exception, users of the system are happy with it & are using this thread to say so; the one exception is a season ticket holder & doesn't say when he's used the system at all. He may be commenting on the system for collecting tickets at the ground, but that is a different problem.
