who gives a sh*t about what happens at half time?

most of the fans that I have stood with are either

a) looking at their phones - for other HT scores or being sad and looking at social sites.

b) they have gone for a p155.

c) they have gone for a dodgy pie, hot dog, chips etc. which will result in a return to b) for something more "solid" (hopefully).

d) they have gone for a pint.

e) reading the programme and moaning about the cost of getting into the ground - particularly away fixtures!

Agree with the above on all points; match day and Brucies that cry-wolf.

How far out were the tickets? I mean, were they in completely different areas of the stand or were they close, but not quite right.

As far as the tickets are concerned, I completely agree, can not for the life see how we as a club can not sell three tickets together. Been with friends to premier league games, where you have to buy a match ticket before entering the ground, allways, no matter how many were asked for got the tickets in a line together.

As for the matchday experience, for me, it's what you make it. Normaly in B+L by 1.30, ground for about 2.45, and off home 5.30-6pm ish, have a laugh ny friends before, depending on how bad the match was, a bit of laugh after the game, a social day out, and I am going to my best to enjoy it, no matter what.

Slap soccer Saturday on the big screen at half time with the sound through the speaker system and Mr Stelling will provide all the entertainment.

Leave Brucie alone, why don't you. He is actually one of the highlights of this board. A bit like Richard Wilson. You have to agree with him even though you know he is a bit left field. So keep going Brucie mate.Keep telling it how it is!!!

Richard Wilson is funny, not abusive. I don't have to agree with Brucie and usually i can't, although he is of course entitled to his opinion. However, I don't take at all well to being called "retarded" by this "highlight of the board" (this was deleted by the mods). That's fine, you enjoy his comments, and that is your privilege. I think that abuse demeans the forum.

The crossbar challenge was a good idea by the club, a simple idea which is quite entertaining. We just need someone else to be on the microphone on the pitch rather than boring brummie Deano. I can't remember the name of that bloke who used to be on the mic before the game and at half time getting the crowd going and being an all round funny bloke. He was perfect, but I think some arrangements of his work (or volunteering which started being the problem) broke down.

As for the tickets, well, I had may own problem. I went to get my season tickets on the Oxford game because I hadn't had time beforehand because I was on holiday. I went into the corporate area to ask to collect them, when I was told I needed to go in the queue where people where getting their match tickets. This seemed ridiculous seeing as I paid for a season ticket and had to wait in a queue when people where getting their tickets, on match day? So I stayed in that queue which seemed to take forever, but finally got to the end. I asked for my season ticket, Popside in the name of Danny Harvey. I know I already paid, I paid ages ago, was my name there? Of course not. After around ten minutes of trying to find my name, the lady asked a guy there what to do. To which he replied, 'just write it out'!? Really? I could have blagged the whole thing? He or she didn't know that I'd paid for them? I had two more for my sister and mother? I would never ever lie to the club like that ever because I love TUFC and wouldn't ever dream of it. But I could have just gone away with free three season tickets.

I know the club is so much better now than it was, but we still have little things like this, which seems really silly.
