The Old Yellow Brick Wall

Post by BayGull »

Just found this document online:
http://www.gloucestergulls.co.uk/Torqua ... d%20FC.pdf

- and on page 7 underneath the ground plan it refers to:
On the spectator side of the wall at the front of the Family Stand is the “Yellowbrick Wall”, a series of engraved
plaques that have been purchased by supporters.

Are these plaques still in existence does anyone know?

I believe they are on the walk way up to Bristows Bench now and you can still buy them they were being sold as part of the shorts raffle at the start of the season

The "original" plaques are still in situ on the spectator side of the wall behind the goal in the Family Stand area of the ground too .... albeit looking a little "tired" now.

Many thanks for the replies. I think AlexGulls is referring to a different set used for fund raising, but CP Gull seems to be referring to the ones I am thinking of.

Thank you for your help.
