Andys match day threads

Post by lucy6lucy »

Personally why they are a great build up to the match, I/we can't force Andy to do both home and away threads, I can't believe their are some who criticise the effort Andy puts into them, just maybe a vote of confidence from this poll might make him reconsider. Come on Andy you know you want to do them lol.

Cheers Lucy but I did a similar poll last season and although the majority were in favour of them I just was staggered at the comments I got. I mean if the people who didn't like them and chucked in remarks too actually got off their arses to create a matchday thread THEY would like to see then perhaps we could have the best of both worlds but no, all mouth aren't they. Complain but not do anything constructive so I've had it. Sorry Luce. Look out for the away day threads though they will be similar. Thanks anyway.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Andy,

If memory serves me correctly, your biggest "critic" has, um, "exited stage left"....

Yes Andy - it is demanded by the 'many' you continue and for the 'few' who it annoys - just don't read it! (bit like how I treat the Daily Mail!)

It's a forum. If you want to post them, post them. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks. If they find them boring, they won't read them.

Your match day threads were mostly complete nonsense, and that's why I loved reading them. You can get stats anywhere online, but you can't get the spectacular blend of weird facts, recent history and personal experiences that you somehow used to compile every week.
It's not just people on this forum that enjoyed them either. I normally make a point of checking the opposition forum before a game, and reasonably often in place of a match day article there would be a link to yours. You have both bemused and amused half of the lower league fan base, and i'd like that to continue!

I agree with brucie; I like them too.
I have to admit I can't remember the criticisms - what didn't they like?
