A couple of weeks ago it was doom and gloom at signing no f*cker, now it's unthought through blind optimism at the signing of a couple of youngsters. Proper assessments can be made when games commence.
The spine (positions of importance) have yet to be filled and already there is a spinal injury.
Now excuse me while I continue to pee on the parade.
And the prize for the most pointless and negative post about signing two players with potential goes to....
Just like to say that i'm extremely pleased about the additions of these 2 players and although Troj has a point about still needing players, Knill is still working to bring in the players we need i'm sure so we should all wait until the 3rd of August and then see what sort of side we have. Great news though.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
Christ, I've seen people miss the point before, but never by this margin. Read it again, Chards, read what's actually written, not what you think is written.
I think I've done the same thing too Matt! Sorry Troj! Now get yersen t'offy lad.

Having just made two positive, exciting signings perhaps we owe it to the manager to show some appreciation for what he has done, rather than what he's not yet managed to do? If the other important signings don't materialise, we'll have reason to complain. But today, how about we just enjoy the excellent looking business that has been done?

Thing is it is not blind optimism though is it. We all saw what Chappell was about and capable of when he played for us. And cast your mind back to Rotherham's 3rd goal against us at Plainmmoor, the Millers player who tore us a new one down the wing and set up the 3rd goal was Cameron, so it can't be blind because we saw it.
Great news these 2 signings, young players with potential and 2 years deals aswell.
