Yes, very good idea and well done to the club for implementing a fan idea. Whilst we're on the subject, what sort of 'packages' do the club do on a matchday? I'm looking for one where i can bring a mate or two, meet a few players and just have a good day out as a special occasion. Nothing too poncy or ott. Is this possible does anyone know?
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Have a look at the Commercial Brochure on the OS Andy: you could sponsor the match ball & have a box to sit in, a meal & autographed ball afterwards. Or I think sponsoring Gilbert would actually suit you better, cos you get to lead the players on to the pitch...but it's 'sposed to be for kids! Or you could PM Andy Candy...

Thanks taxilady. I'll have a look now. I don't have a burning desire to meet the players just that it would be a nice part of the day especially for my Wednesdayite mate who would be in awe of meeting pro footballers even if he hasn't a clue who he's meeting!

Well Exile, you've just made our club a tidy 850 at the very least, all from nothing but an idea. Nice work! http://www.torquayunited.com/news/artic ... 3480000000
