Transfer Deadline?
Transfer Deadline?
Is today the day when the loan transfer deadline passes? And if so, do we hold any hope of Knill bringing anyone in?

Yes it's today Jeff and TBH i don't think we need bring anyone else in.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

he is doing his best to get someone in.
Lets hope he manages to pull a striker out of the bag. I'm concerned that Howe won't see the season out as I'm confident he'll get two more yellows between now and April 27th. A question though; if he picked up two yellows in a game do they affect his yellow card tally aswell, so he'll miss 4 matches?

I must add that i would be delighted if we brought someone in as it can only give us another option however, i feel at this moment in time with the momentum we have i think we have more than enough to stay up with what we have now. As for Howe, he has scored just 2 goals in his last 12 ( one a penalty ) so if he did get himself suspended for the final few games i wouldn't be overly concerned. I know there is more to his game than goals like holding up play and bringing others in but his heart isn't 100% in it anyway. For once this season i have total confidence that a TUFC manager knows what he's doing so whether he brings anyone in or not doesn't matter to me. We're staying up and i'll leave these big decisions to Knill which he WILL get right.

Can we have some sort of validation system for people claiming to know things? Maybe this is why we struggle to get players in, it seems that the club blab to just about every man and his dog about the intimate inner workings of a hugely competetive business in a hugely competetive market. Imagine if Steve Jobs had told so much to so many during his time at the head of Apple, we'd all be wandering about with Microsoft iPodsROADRUNNER wrote:he is doing his best to get someone in.
Evidence of who you are and how you know or it's lashes at half time at the next home game.

Matt's back with a bang
I think RR is just punting with predictions and writing them as fact. I intend to join him.

I agree that we'll be fine to stay up with the squad we have, whilst hoping of course that we'll be spared too many injuries and suspensions, against which eventualities it would have been good to sign an additional forward. So it's good to see the likes of Howe, Jarvis and Benyon scoring goals again, and the confidence and attitude of the players restored to the way they were. By the time we play Bristol Rovers, we'll be safe.

I would tend to believe Roadrunner - it is, of course, up to you, but I know who this person is and that his/her source is an excellent one.
