Spoken to Hayden - who hasnt been chairman for 2 years - and doesnt even know whether the TUST exists anymore!!!!!

Thats sad but I have to say after the initial start it's as if the TUST didn't exist. Don't mean to criticize and I'm sure the pioneers had good intentions and worked very hard with a few good projects coming to fruition.

Always had a dream that an independent TQY trust would be formed with one objective, buying the ground from the council so never again could we be subject to a scenario of the Roberts/Bateson variety.

Is it feasible, would the board agree, I don't know but wouldn't be easy which ever way you look at it but would love to see something of the like happen.

Pretty sure they changed their remit towards something more like a supporters club. Tragic how nobody seems to know if their existence any more, even the ex bloody chairman who helped set the thing up! Shows the unbelievable apathy of TUFC supporters.

Indeed taxilady, but if you click news, at the bottom of the last newsletter from tust chairman Steve Vincent is his contact address.

One call to 118 etc, etc give his name and address unless he is ex-directory you will soon have his phone no...see.

yeah I see that; just commenting that things don't look particularly active at the moment judging by the reports. But well done for finding it! There is a phone number on there if SBG wants to pursue it...& in the public domain, not private !

I was actually wondering if the roof for the disabled section (mentioned in another thread ) might come within the remit, but obviously not if the set-up is defunct ?
