survey

xeon wrote: 10 Jun 2024, 13:20 Home fans behind both goals - its absurd to have an empty terrace (for most games, not all) behind a goal.

Open it up when the away support doesn't fill the seats in Bristows.

Monthly payments for STs - evens out the cash flow for the club and makes STs more affordable for fans

Loose the goal music

Loose the match day surcharge.

A 'fanzone' for a beer or two somewhere other than boots before/after games - get local bands to do a set for entertainment etc.
Would cost the club extra money when we already have Gulls Nest & B&L.....

Squad 2024/25

Yeofan wrote: 04 Jun 2024, 09:35 He wasn't. He was brought in mid season, as cover. Was never a first choice. We had to play him due to injuries, and our second half of the season was significantly worse than the first half when we were head and shoulders better. We were defensively more frail with him in the side. That said, NLS is about his standard, and there are plenty worse defenders than him I saw last season
We saw quite a few at Plainmoor....
Also, when Buckle became manager, we didn't have a team - never mind a squad either.
And yes, I know Bucks budget was higher, but all the same he picked players and brought them in - turned out alright....
I'm sure that PW will do the same, plus he has NW's help too.

Maybe we should incorporate Bryn into our new team badge????? Alsatian chasing away the Bristolian Shitehawks

Sell some new tee shirts with Jim and the Dog emblazened across the chest for the opening match? Better quality than this of course.....

Those 3 nearly destroyed this club and took it to its lowest point, they should all hang their head in shame

I hope they never get anywhere near a football club again

survey

happytorq wrote: 30 May 2024, 16:30 That's not what surveys are for, though. When used properly, and designed well, a survey is helpful for identifying trends and a general sense of things rather than asking for specifics. The one the club sent out was actually pretty well designed - they clearly think they know what some of the low-hanging fruit is, and they're looking for reinforcement on what the best things to focus on right now would be. If you have an open-ended question, yuo'll get open-ended answers and that's not helpful at all. But if you say "which of these options applies" that gives you the chance to make better decisions.

The first few questions, as I recall, were essentially demographic questions (locations, gender, household income). That's helpful becasue you can then get a sense of whether answers in other questions are influenced by the type of person you are. Also, I thought it was interesting that they asked why people don't go to home games; if the majority response is not about cost, and instead other things that take priority, that might be a signal to try a friday night kickoff rather than saturday 3pm. I suspect that we'll see the new owners try a few different things in the course of this season, simply to see what works and what doesn't, and surely that should be encouraged.
Hope that's not the case, as in my opinion, you are then relying on local fans - even some of those that are fairly close and also work might struggle to get there on a Friday night - never mind the Exiles.

survey

Yes, filled it in.
Cash should be able to be used anytime and anywhere - Can't believe that there is a no cash option at Plainmoor either.
Also, paying extra to get in on matchday - Absolutely shocking, that needs addressing to encourage fans that just want to turn up.
Have to say the food in No.10's isnt that good and it's overpriced as well.

I think there are more important things that they would like/need to address first.
And its not like they have been quiet since they have taken over is it????
