Solihull Moors v Torquay United - Tues 6th August 19:45 KO

Ref was atrocious.
Definitely a blatant dive for their pen
Our passing was terrible
We had more chances but overall they were the better team.
Player for player they were better
Their goalkeeper played out of his skin
Again, the ref was completely out of her depth, no clue

Chippenham Town V Torquay United 19/4/19

Just like to say I thought it was a nice gesture by the Chippenham Team to clap our players onto the pitch.

Never seen a championship winning side lol so not sure if this is standard practice or not.

Chippenham Town V Torquay United 19/4/19

I was at the game and thought we were the better side. But not by much. The pitch was terrible, and that isn't trying to make an excuse, it was terrible! The only way to play on that was hoof ball, when we tried a passing game it just didn't work, maybe Man City or someone like that could have made it work but we are not Man City.

Missing Asa, Saikou and RK also showed.

They knew how to play that pitch, we at times were incamped in their half but they defended well. I'm making no predictions for next season on that 1 game yesterday.

Torquay United v Wealdstone 30/3/19

That was a real test, got to give Wealdstone credit, they were tough and had some skill., battled hard as well. The pen miss raised their confidence. But to win this league you got to win these and we did. Credit to their fans as well who added to the atmosphere, because let's face it this league suffers with that, as there are usually only a handful turn up. Thought we edged it. But it was close.

Torquay United v Oxford City 26/1/19

It's not beyond technology to solve the pitch along Bristow bench but it is almost certainly beyond our pocket so we most likely have to live with it, unless we move ground of course :)

Bath Away jan 19th

I don't agree, I think only by a slight margin we were the better side. The game ebbed and flowed and yes you can argue for either side BUT the periods we were in control I think we were more dangerous.

A long way from the incident but it looked a harsh pen against us.

Tge penalty miss was the turning point and gave them momentum.

I also don't agree our club has any responsibility at away games for the behavior of our fans. We all have personal responsibility, I dont see why CO can be responsible at all, does he have to vet every single away ticket sold, be also responsible if they get sold on to some undesirable. Ridiculous. The home club are responsible for ticket sales and the processes required to stop them being transferred, if they were. The problem is in the brains of the individuals who do this. They should be caught and punished. The club or any club should not be punished, you are suggesting if they are that they somehow condone it, which they don't.

Weston Super Mare v Torquay United 30/10/2018 ko 7.45

2+hours each way, all i can say it was entertaining, mainly due to the masses of Torquay fans.

Turnstile i used there was no problem, no queue and very easy :) got in at 7pm.

Queue for a beer was ridiculous, didnt even bother about food, they could have made much more money if they had been organised.

Agree that clubs like Weston are not capable of puting on a game like this. Couldnt hear the announcer either so if there were any emergency announcements wouldnt have heard them.

Speaking to one of the coppers, the whole force on duty last night in Weston turned up, i ddi tell them it was the wrong end, but there we are.

CO is confusing me!

My penny worth on this subject.

The long term sustainability will be decided on who owns it.

If it is us the fans in my opinion we would probably never be a league team again BUT we would be in control, and probably could sustain a team still playing at Plain moor for we'll a long time, probably part time and probably in NLS.

If it's a wealthy individual with lots of money we might become a league club again but we are exposed to the whims, uncertainty of their motivations etc.

I am NOW enjoying this season. Going to WSM tonight and will hopefully enjoy it. Enjoy the rest of this season. Keep an eye on CO and the stadium.

If CO came out and legally and contractually stated that if we moved to a new stadium the rent would be the same as it is now, there WOULD be opportunities for expanding off field financial activities that would go straight to the team it might help alleviate the concerns we have, but he doesnt.

Eastbourne Borough v Torquayunited 13/10/18

I think Jamie Reid has proved that there is nothing wrong with his commitment, effort and skill (at least at this level)

What was wrong was the management of him, which probably, depleted his confidence, depressed him and made him doubt himself.

The problem is many fans get so frustrated, and to be honest don't know the full situation, how any of you know what goes on I don't know, I don't think you do. But to start picking on 1 player is totally out of order.

WELL DONE JAMIE REID! KEEP IT GOING AND MAKE YOURSELF A REAL SUCCESSFUL CAREER OUT OF FOOTBALL!!

The appraisal is now done

He did say win the "euro lottery" which could be 100m + quite easily enough for a conf south club. And you could employ someone like Colin Lee to run it for you professionally. If i won that sort of money i would try and buy it, but i wouldnt want to run it thats for sure. If won the "national lottery" i would not buy it.
