Pleased we have strengthened but now probably far too late as we play catch up.

Ronny Nelson Joins Gulls On Loan
3x defenders in over the last few games. It has taken until February to work this out ? Glaringly obvious for all to see where we needed to strengthen.

Message to the "protesters"
The shambolic display was on the pitch not off it.North Curry House wrote: ↑09 Feb 2024, 15:34 PLEASE try and support the team against Slough. Let us ALL spur the team on to three points.
Last week on the pitch was poor but even worse off it! With what was a shambolic "walkout". It looked like it was not very well thought out, no doubt borne out of frustration in the playground, the actions of a few disgruntled schoolboys.
Colorado had a good idea.....if you can not support the team, then stay away.
COYY
The protest is a build up of 2 years plus failure from our owners, our management and the way this joke of a se up is run from top to bottom.
By all means attempt to support this dross on the pitch, these last 2 years have proven difficult .
The protesters bought there season tickets with the hope we would be up there. We have been let down massively by all involved. If they want to protest , let them get on with it.
Fortunate there are not 500 meatheads from Millwall on the case instead of our mild mannered protesters.

Protests
Definitely between 200-300 walked out, made easy with the performance and being outplayed by the Part -timers.
Obviously all the wrong type of fans leaving early and protesting

Protests
Guess you were not part of it thenNorth Curry House wrote: ↑06 Feb 2024, 19:31 Can someone tell me what was the point of the so called "protest" by walking out after 60 minutes? I counted around sixty (so called) fans leaving. It looked like a load of sheep following each other.
After the final whistle, a few blocked the exit outside the main offices. I would like to see the police move them on, this week should the same occur.
Hoping for an improvement from the players and "fans" on Saturday.

Ref and 2x Linos didn't give us much !
Lads gave beyond the 'Call of duty'......they are paid as pro footballers in case he has forgotten

Another defeat 1 win in 9
11 goals conceeded in last 3 games
21 points behind Yeovil
GJ the safest job in English football

21 points behind Yeovil .. Yes 21 points behind Yeovil a club who we thought we would be challenging.
Dream on![🤬](//cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@latest/assets/svg/1f92c.svg)
The season has been an absolute shambles.
Hang your heads in shame, every individual that is responsible for getting this group of soft dross of so called professionals together. They were not good enough last season and they are not good enough this season.
All a total embarrassment to OUR football club.

Sounds an improvement from Saturday ++++show.
Fact is we lost again, another defeat and another 3 points gone as we slip further.
Osborne/ Edwards needs to react NOW.
1win in how many and that was against the Mighty Dover
Not acceptable. Going to be toxic again on Saturday unless Johnson is gone that’s a certainty.

4-0 Maidstone even if they field a weakened side.
Our soft lads will be outplayed.

Injuries.
Too many at the club on this easy journey.
Most will be gone as there contracts end, and good riddance as they were not good enough last season and ain’t good enough for this pub league as has been proven.
Amazon are recruiting, but guess they would have to put in a shift. As for Lovett at half time, he has had a smile on his face since he signed and is happy smiley all the time.
Even the stats guy on his walk was told yesterday on his walk to the gantry was told ‘he was part of the problem’

knightmaregull wrote: ↑03 Feb 2024, 20:52 Ash is proven as capable at this level. He, like most of these players, should be top players in this league but have just been poorly managed.
Sadly too many players have passed through GJ's hands and been prematurely written off as useless for it to be a coincidence, look at Waters, Umerah and Street as immediate examples.
Instead we continue to play the loanee roulette waiting for the 1 in 20 player whose natural ability shines without the need for coaching.
I would not disagree with your poorly managed remark.
However some players just cannot handle this Big Club expectation and Ash is a perfect example of this.
I have no doubt there is a player there, but as an expected goal scorer for us his season has been a huge disappointment.
No doubt he will move on and come back to haunt us as they do.
I bet Ash, along probably with the new lad announced today, wish they could join the loanees fighting for the exit doors back to their parent club's youth teams.

Torquay United v St. Albans - 03rd February 2024.
Pathetic performance from us.
Outwitted, outfought, outmuscled.
We played like a bunch of softies and St Albans should have had at least 6.
Only one side in it and Boys v Men , another **** Saturday show. Credit to SA who deserved their win they are a footballing side and we continue to play Hoofball to Ash the smallest guy on the field who is a complete waste of space amongst others. Never mind as we slip further behind after all we do have the Best Manager in this league as our league table position suggest.![🤔](//cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@latest/assets/svg/1f914.svg)
