Stadium fan ownership
To Exeter City you can add AFC Wimbledon and Wycombe Wanderers, Chesterfield are also fan owned.culmstockgull wrote: ↑02 Nov 2023, 11:52 Survival of a club by community ownership may be the last throw of the dice for many but I stlll stand by my original thought that I have yet to see in the UK a successful in purely footballing terms community owner venture.

Most fans were happy because they didn't, and couldn't know of Dawson's fitness issues. Johnson surely did know and at least the club should have given him a medical.Southampton Gull wrote: ↑28 Oct 2023, 18:16 Dawson was a gamble most people were happy with until it became a weapon to beat GJ with.
Like the case with Hall, if you have a limited budget it is unwise to spend it on players with limited availability.

I don't think he extended the contracts of the failing players, they are already in long term deals. I think only Hall and Moxey signed new contracts and Ash, Da Silva, Stobbs and Dawson are new signings.
I would put a question mark against re-signing Hall because if your budget is limited you can't afford the luxury of players who are going to have limited availability.

I think it is Dominic Mee, he is an employee of the club, not a volunteer.culmstockgull wrote: ↑26 Oct 2023, 17:56 Re: johnson press conference this afternoon, does anyone know who the person who asks the questions because today not only were they asking the questions they were also giving the answers so Johnson just had to nod and agree, who ever you are, you are a traitor to the supporters and the club and all just so you get free entry to the games.

At least Liam Davis managed to put in two seasons for us before he got crocked.culmstockgull wrote: ↑19 Oct 2023, 11:44 It would not surprise me if Dawson became another Davis , injured for a whole season plus on very good money.
