Considering that if we make the play offs we will very likely have to face Worthing again I think it's safe to say we will still be in the NLS next season.
Time to make a change surely.

Clark Osborne/Jim Parker Interview
Kevin Foster, the local MP, says he talked to the council leadership. All the council did was give the club a polite hearing and reiterated that Plainmoor is NOT for sale, they also queried how the club intended to finance any development.
In other words nothing is going to happen so stop worrying.

Clark Osborne/Jim Parker Interview
I remember seeing a documentary recentlyish about Hereford's win over Newcastle in the 1972 FA Cup. Hereford at the time were semi-professional and I was surprised to learn that they had players from London in their side, so geography is not necessarily a limiting factor.Dave wrote: ↑23 Jan 2024, 19:47 To me while the option to remain full time is open, then remaining full time is the right thing for our club to do. Think when it comes to part-time players some perhaps are looking at this the wrong way, Buckland Athletics players are not all from Newton Abbot/Torbay , pretty sure the same applies to the likes of Bideford/Tiverton etc.

The team are not playing badly because the atmosphere is toxic. The atmosphere is toxic because the team are not performing.

Clark Osborne/Jim Parker Interview
In their recent posts both skillsy and brewers boy have indicated that they have no problem with the club going part time. I feel that would be more detrimental to our identity than moving to a new stadium. This club in its current form was founded in 1921 to be a full time professional outfit and regressing to part time would in my mind mean we have given up.

Re: Chippenham Away tickets
Game no longer segregated and tickets will be in sale on the night. Sounds like we didn't shift many.

In his post match interview Johnson says the club is as much his as it is the fans because he's been hear a long time.
Christ he's been a paid employee for five years, there are fans in attendances who can recall the O'Farrell era. Where does the man's arrogance end and his humility begin.

Typical Johnson apologist, talk up the opposition to deflect from our shortcomings. Yes I was there and it was a poor performance.SuperNickyWroe wrote: ↑20 Jan 2024, 17:54 Who cares if he was or wasn't?
As you quite rightly point out, they are - although bottom of the league, a tricky team to beat - having only lost two more games than they've drawn!

Fantastic 1-0 win against the worst team in the league in front of sub 2k crowd.

Would be interested to read it but it's behind a pay wall.Louis wrote: ↑19 Jan 2024, 14:04 Knocking on the doors of 6 years now since I did this interview. Still feel the same way and yet to be proven otherwise. Good on the council for standing firm.

I think we can safely say that as long as Torquay United AFC (1921) continues to exist there isn't going to be a Phoenix club, so there is no need to think about it now.
The next instalment in this saga will come when CO decides to relinquish the club until then there is nothing the fans or the TUST can do but hope.
