With regard to part time. Being an old stager I used to go in the Eric Webber era, and I'm sure some maybe all I was not aware could have been part time.

This was in the early 50's an I think remember Erny Pym, Ronnie Shaw and Sammy Collins were part timers

Maybe someone in my age bracket could throw a bit more light on this?

Taunton result great for Torquay, but as they always say you can't rely on other teams.

The Gulls have got to improve dramatically and try and pull away from the others around them.....Starting this Saturday COYY

Also hope Tonbridge can do us a favour and hammer Truro next Saturday ..this being one of Truro's FIVE games in hand of us ...wtf !!!

Still it's not all bad news..if this continues we'll be able to travel to the likes of Tavistock.. Exmouth and Bideford as well some other unknown grounds at this rate next season!!!

If we manage a1-1 draw, it may well be viewed as a point gained.

As it stands now . If Taunton beat WSM tonight ,which as their recent form suggests, they will go 2 points clear of Torquay and still have 3 Games in hand !!!

Truro also have games in hand .....and The Gulls have to play both of them before the end of the season.
