Well I guess a point when you are down to 10 men is an ok result and before the sending off we were by far the better team. Actually good to see us keeping the ball on the floor for once. Thought the red card was harsh although it was an error by Lewis getting on the wrong side.

Bromley were a drab boring team and seemed to have no idea how to attack a side with 10 men, and I had to laugh when they still had a back 5 whenever we had a goal kick ! Must admit that Duke-McKenna was MOM, and is a real prospect shame he will head back to QPR. Thought Lapslie had his best game in a while.

The focus now must be on next season and we soooo need a couple of good strikers, alas I think Danny Wright has now passed his sell by date and maybe time to hang the boots up ? I hear that Lolos and his agent may have got under GJ’s skin hand nice his bench warming again.

I think we have the basis of a good team but need another centre back, a midfield general, oh for an Alex Russell type player, at least one winger plus maybe another full back, and think that there is plenty of deadwood to be rid of.It may be concerning if. Few of the better players decide the grass is greener, I hear that CLE could be off and I really Armani may be looking elsewhere.

Mid table it is this season and hopefully we will lose two “money bags” teams to even the playing field.

I don’t think the defence is the issue it’s our inept strike force ! Will one of them actually get into double figures this season ?

A bang average effort yesterday. Can think of only four players who performed ok, Lewis, Moxey, CLE avd my MOM Duke- McKenna. I agree on the dead ball comments, criminal that we didn’t hit the target with those free kicks as their keeper needed to made to work.

Little seems to have suffered a relapse on his form and gone back to shocking delivery !!!

Worrying that our striking hopes are down to. 37 yr old who isn’t match fit. We missed Armstrong so much and a shame it wasn’t a loan to the end of the season.

Still perplexed that GJ said that sone if the squad weren’t gourd enough a while ago and here we are with the majority still there !

It’s mid table for us now no chance of gate crashing 7th or above so let’s focus on next season perhaps and building a better squad on limited funds !!

Well that was a very beige performance ! Toothless in attack, chasing around after what was a reasonable Solihull side and never in a position to threaten. Comes to something when are attacking hopes are solely based on a 37 year old and without him then there’s nothing to worry the opposition.

The squad is paper thin I’m afraid, and oh we could do use a signing like Mark Ellis at the back.

Mid table mediocrity beckons and the season will slowly petter out.

GJ clearly doesn’t trust his bench hence the very late substitutions, and I’m still at a loss to see what Aaron Downes brings to the party as defensively we are naive at best and always back off the attacker allowing serious inroads to be made.

Good crowd though to witness a drab performance. Ref was appalling btw and did we really have claims for two pens brushed aside, felt there was one which could have gone our way.

How some people can say there were praiseworthy performances today is beyond me ! It was dreadful to say the least. Ineffectual upfront Holman looks disinterested and has that shot cone back into orbit yet and Lolos is like a puppy running around and achieving nothing !

Midfield was weak again but thought Lapslie did ok and whilst I’m not an Armani basher he is infuriating most of the time and he is not captain material as his body language is appalling!

We have the basis of a mid table team that’s about it and how do we compete with the “splash the cash”teams in the NL ? If it’s not snapping up good EFL players then it’s appointing EFL managers (Stockport’s new boss)

I have faith in GJ but you can see he gets soooo frustrated at the inept performances.

Finally how poor was today’s ref !! Shocking

I think we need to stick with GJ but as I said before what does Downes coach the defence ? He was a solid defender but clearly he can’t be instilling anything into the players at the back unless they ignore him and do their own thing ?

A grasp of reality is required this season as we are a mid table team at best.

I’m amazed that the “threat” made by GJ to players over a month ago that they would be moved on if they weren’t good enough hasn’t come to anything. We need a new spine to the team in my view

Let’s see what we are served up on Saturday !!!!

Oh dear that was dreadful. We lack leadership and power in midfield. I think we miss Hall and Lapslie when they aren’t on the pitch. Time for change, if GJ said some players aren’t up to it then let’s get rid !

Hopefully the loan signings will add something to a squad that lacks confidence. No one bar Lewis should pick up their wages this week, make him captain instead of Little

Where has the CLE of last season gone ? Today really showed how we missed the wide players of last season. Oh for a striker signing this week. Bumped into Danny Wright pre match and he hopes to have the support boot off in 3 weeks then maybe match fit in another 2 weeks ?

So surely the question is whether the “threat” from GJ that players would be moved on can be brought to fruition ? What’s the pint in making an idle threat if you don’t carry it through !!

I can hear the excuses continuing about struggling to get players in as they don’t want to drop into the National League. Why can’t we stop the bull ..... and admit that we will be stuck with the existing squad.

I do wonder why Aaron Downes fails to coach good defending ..... maybe he should think about making a comeback ?

Defence is appalling!

Very pleasing result and the effort and pressing was awesome. Thought Lewis commanded the defence and he won't hit another shot like that in a long time ! Lapsie is like the duracell bunny just keeps going, despite crap setting in, just what you need in the midfield an old fashioned terrier. I have been critical of Little and humble pie can be eaten but its amazing what confidence does for your game, he is a different player now and back to his true self hopefully. But don't let him near penalties please .... give them to Moxey after the one he got against Notts County last season !!!

Two good strikers goals from Holman and he showed great work ethic plus clinical finishing, Needed as I hear Wright is out for maybe 6-8 weeks ??? Maybe time to get a forward in on loan to cover this or hope Conor stays fit to play the No 10 role ?? I guess we will now get cries of bringing (the goal machine) Olaf back ???

Plenty for GJ to think about. Too many passengers and needs to wield the axe as was threatened !!! Those to go IMO - O’Connell, Rogers, Johnson (?Not Gary) Lolos and one of the keepers if not all !!

Pour goalkeeping ! We are second best and have a very average squad ! Money on Choiri Johnson getting a second yellow ?
