Welling v Torquay Sat 6th Apr 3pm

Nothing changes Marshall sent off for an appalling challenge, Dawson 'injured" again and poor Halstead makes a rare error.

When will we have anything to cheer? We are so predictable - piss poor and weak. We show NO fight or desire....where are our leaders?

Potential Buyers

I put the CLUB first, so I want to be in the HIGHEST league possible, even if CO gets a few quid. I dispise him the same as everyone else BUT do NOT cut off your nose.....because you are ugly enough!

However, I share your concerns that the league may impose a bond, which we wl not be able to meet. Maybe our wonderful TUST will pay that bond.......???

Staying Up - Relegation Battle

Hemel have all bottom teams in their remaining fixtures, so should be able to get out of trouble.

My four to go down are;

Dover
Havant & Waterlooville
Taunton
Dartford.

I will be happy to finish 20th! A total disaster when everyone thought we were certs to go back to NL with Yeovil.

And I read that George Edwards wants to buy the Club.......He is part of the problem, we need him to F**" off NOW. Part of the lying owners attempt to secure the ground. Thank goodness the council said no!

Mal Lucas

The passing of Mal Lucas WAS indeed acknowledged at our last home match against Hampton & Richmond.

Potential Buyers

I have grave doubts about the calibre of the TUST personnel, which are shared by real business people (past and present). It appears more about them than the club.

I question why a small minority of "fans" are in talks with potential owners and what right do they have to represent every other supporter - when were they elected? and by who? Certainly not me!

Sounds a great idea for fans to run a club BUT needs the proper people in charge, NOT the butcher, the baker, fish & chips shop worker, retired teacher and supermarket worker......None of whom I want representing me or my club.

Speaking to a top TUST member yesterday, he was mentioning the talks they are having with potential buyers, saying Edwards had wanted to get his hands on the cash donated to pay wages etc. He also said, when asked that he thought the club were "a couple of months" behind with HMRC payments, which would be a concern for me.

I hope the local man, made good can take over quickly and sort the club out......from top to bottom - on and off the pitch.

The sooner Osborne and the arrogant Edwards are jettisoned out of Plainmoor, the better.

Yeovil Town v Torquay Utd Friday 29th 3pm

Yeovil 2 Torquay1

Just can not see us repeating the performance of last week but Yeovil have been on a poor run lately (until last Saturday). I keep saying it ......a clean sheet and we do not lose, score one and we win.

We were at Plainmoor and the closest we have played like Brazil (well nearly!)...…..but it was an all round performance in front of a big crowd and well deserved three points.

MOTM - Hampton & Richmond

Moxey my MoM for clearing off the line TWICE.

Hall, calming influence and a well taken penalty.

Halstead, keeping a rare clean sheet.

This is too difficult as EVERYONE contributed to a fantastic result, well done to the entire squad AND the Yellow Army........even a large contingent from the Plymouth Green Army and a few from Exeter. I even saw fans wearing Brighton and Portsmouth shirts showing their support to us.

Thank you for a great day - the best of the season (so far) and an important three points against a top team.

Neil Warnock great bloke

Taelee73 wrote: 22 Mar 2024, 17:54 He's a marmite manager. If he's yours, you love him, the opposition, you hate him.

From what I remember, (though I don't trust my memory much anymore) we'd played well but ultimately lost 4-3 at Argyle and then had been abysmal in that 1-8 defeat to Scunthorpe. Those defeats seemed terrible until this season

But yes,the change was instant, they would smash players, the ball anywhere away from danger. The spirit was amazing and most of us wished he'd stayed on.

Would be happy if he was part of a consortium, his knowledge, contacts would be very beneficial. But even if it's just helping out in the short term, we thank him

Hope he gets a good reception tomorrow.
8-1 home defeat to Scunthorpe was after Neil Warnock's time at Plaimoor.

Great to see him back this afternoon, I sat next to him at Derby cupatch, when TUFC did not want him there in case he upset GJ. Neil is a fantastic FOOTBALL man. If appointed 18 months ago, we would never of been relegated. Get him on board as a owner, manager, CEO....anything the fans want him. WE NEED HIM.
