The Great Muta! wrote: 18 May 2024, 15:09 Negativity??, you being serious??, you think we'll sign Luke Young and Hoilett?, is that me being negative if I think that won't happen, or is it me being negative for wanting Paul Wotton to run the show and for him and him only to be doing things his way?....like I say and I'll repeat Incase you didn't take it onboard, you need to call somebody...
I never suggested either of those players, give your head a wobble

The Great Muta! wrote: 17 May 2024, 13:05 So fans on this site have mentioned Luke Young joining us, dropping in Junior Hoilett, banging on about Warnock and his contacts thinking league 1 players will be joining us.....I happen to mention something and it's laughable??....you need to call somebody....

Bryn Consortium Take-Over

UnitedinDevon wrote: 15 May 2024, 15:08 Do one of the Bryn group have a link to the Lovells? (did have Lovell sport now VX3 based in Paignton)

I saw on twitter last night a post from the chap who made the video of Wotton/Warnock on Princess Pier

Joe Lovell replied thanking him for doing it "short notice" which indicates some involvement

wouldn't be a surprise if we have VX3 making our kits now, they make a fair few for local teams but also for Newport County (and if you look at their website they have a certain model on the home page.. - https://vx-3.com/

New manager announced - Paul Wotton

The Great Muta! wrote: 17 May 2024, 09:42 I did wonder what Neil's role would be a good week or so ago, now it's out there, lots saying or reporting he was just an advisor, helper out, guest of the club etc etc, but he's DOF, I just hope this works out, players need to know Paul Wotton is the boss,he picks the team, it's his XI out on the pitch with his formation and tactics and game plan.. I can see that, or it appears that Neil and Paul get on great, but we don't need a messy or over complicated system in place ..I just hope Neil isn't to full on and isn't Paul's assistant manager in disguise...
Your last sentence is laughable

It's clear who is who from the press conference and both PW and NW are strong but respectful characters

Plus already reported that PW will have his own assistant joining him anyway

Listened to the press conference questions on this earlier

https://www.devonlive.com/sport/footbal ... st-9284998

Very good listen and so refreshing to hear open, honest and transparent answers

Both Warnock and Wotton are clearly up for challenge

Down to us supporters now to back them and support via season ticket sales

Bryn Consortium Take-Over

My understanding is that the consortium have been ramping up plans for the last few weeks

Manager is sorted and it's not Downes

Interesting couple of retentions for next season too if it comes off! Warnocks impact already telling :scarf:

Bryn Consortium Take-Over

The Great Muta! wrote: 02 May 2024, 20:04 Really mean this in the nicest possible way, but what's this fixation of Neil Warnock?, he was a caretaker manager for a handful of games over 30years ago now, we need a clean slate, no going back to the future, Neil deserves to put his feet up, get on a sun lounger and enjoy his retirement, not at Plainmoor in any working role
Who is fixated?

Having a opinion from a man who's been in football for a long time and will have contacts right across the country is a big plus

Gives our (hopefully) new consortium some football credibility rather than just business

Certainly had neither under CO
