How many Season Tickets Sold?

So, I got really bored, its amazing how little there is to discuss when the football stops.. And I counted all the reserved seats on the booking site.

I got to

Bristows Bench - 488 reserved seats
Family Stand - 87 reserved seats
Popside - No idea as its standing

So, that loos like 550 season tickets plus how ever many for the popside, any guesses? Maybe 300 ish?

So does not look too bad, and on our way to 1000 season tickets, if my counting and presumption that every reserved seat is a season ticket sold is correct.

How many Season Tickets Sold?

So, Notts County have sold 1500 season tickets so far reportedly, and NLS Hipsters Dulwich have supposedly sold 500 Season Tickets so far!!

How many did we sell last year? And Does anyone know how many we have sold so far, to see how we are comparing? Does the club announce numbers towards the end of the pre season or at any point?

What is the general consensus of what figure would be good and what would be bad for this years season ticket sales.

Attendance against Eastbourne?

So Based on 6500, our current ticket sales would be 6500 - 2200 (unsold) - 200 (away fans) = 4100 sold to date. With some ticket sales today, a few away fans, and supporters paying on the day, could that be a further 1000, getting us to 5100 plus? Seems very possible. What a boost for TUFC to have a 5000 pus crowd for a league game, or even 2 league games.

Any Statos out there that know the last 5000 plus crowd at plainmoor for a league game?

Attendance against Eastbourne?

So, if our ground capacity is 7500, and we have given 200 seats to Away fans, then the following from our website gives the impression only 2200 tickets left, and so we have sold over 5000 so far? Seems to me, we must be working to a smaller capacity than 7500. But still looks like a very big crowd will be there on Saturday. Does anyone know actual max capacities in each of the 4 stands?

"For Saturday’s match against Eastbourne, there are only around 320 seats left in Bristow’s Bench, with Blocks D, E and F all sold out. There are also around 300 seats left in The Sunday Independent Family Stand.

Although there are still just under 1,100 tickets in the Thatchers Popside, and 480 in the Riviera Storage Terrace, tickets are also selling very quickly"

Attendance against Eastbourne?

So biggest this season was for the Xmas Truro Game at 3800 ish. Last Saturday Home game was almost 3000.

I can't see where the other 1 to 2 thousand people are going to come from, if we are going to get 4 to 5 k for the last 2 home games. Unless an incredible amount of exiles make it down. Which I would love to do, but already have tickets for Chippenham and St Albans, and to also do a trip down to plainmoor is just not possible for me, and probably for a lot of us exiles..

I feel we will peak at around 3500 crowds. I do hope I am very wrong, and people come out of the woodwork in support of the team, and all the players efforts, and we see a 5k plus crowd.

TUFC Fans Banned?

Totally agree with TheElk. This was not the Stone Island Army making trouble. This was true fans getting well and truly immersed in the excitement of a last minute equaliser at the very end of a match against our nearest rivals.

I was right there at the corner, and even I thought about jumping on the pitch in the heat of it. The only thing that stopped me was more about getting my old inflexible body over the barrier and back again!!

I bet there are some on this forum who jumped on the pitch, no harm done, and if some of you moaners were right in the heart of it, when the players ran towards us, and the Woking Steward opened the gate in the corner, you too may even have got excited enough to get carried away and join those on the pitch, once in your life.

Our League Form under Gary Johnson

How can TUFC be punished for something at an away match? Surely it is Woking poor security and stewards that are to blame.

It even states on the Woking forum, that a steward opened the gate for the fans to run onto the pitch.

Any steward/security experts on here that could provide some idea on rules and blame?

Torquay don't do draws.

But when they do, they are probably the best draws in the world....

Welcome to Woking on Saturday

Thanks for the Info, but..

When you say food and drink inside the ground, does that include alcoholic drinks once inside?

And if not, where is the closest 'Neutral' pub to the ground that will allow Torquay fans, other than the snooker club?
