I dunno what you are allowed to express in front of this Merse bloke without being brought down a peg or two. Anyhow Yorkie, most of your points are valid as far as I'm concerned you carry on giving credit where it's due in your opinion, get ready the prima Donna comments are surely on their way now.

Someone should hang a bloody great sign in the dressing room " if you don't shoot you don't score " how bloody obvious is it ? Almost every one we've played shoots at the first opportunity & inevitability gain their reward within the 90 mins, it beggars belief why we don't do it .

Well you couldn't make it up could you, not even a Hollywood film director would believe it, the great escape crew '87 in attendance & the last minute equaliser goal scorer ( Dobbo ) in the ground, lo & behold the opposition blatantly time wasting & what happens tonight ? a last minute equaliser ( McGinty ) if you'd made it up they'd cart you off to the funny farm surely .

This is the opportunity for GI to show that they care about the club, its players & its fans by going the right thing by Twitch. Let's give them the opportunity to show us.westyorkshiregull wrote: ↑12 Dec 2017, 12:29 ..i knew a bit about him but as usual in life it takes something like this to actually take stock and really appreciate this man.
What about we all did something ourselves , I would chip for something, a plaque or a stone engraved tribute at plainmoor. Something that will last
Yes a stone a plaque or whatever but it should come from the club in my humble opinion, if the supporters club or who ever else wants to get involved so be it but the club has got to show it cares !!!!

A question from a Dutch football memorabilia collector
Who's going to foot the bill for such items ? Are you willing to pay for them or even foot the postage bill ?

Hello Laura, thank you for your kind words of appreciation, once again I would like to show my appreciation of Twitch. I remember being at Shaldon primary school in 1978, Your Dad & John Turner showed up to give us a training session, wow what an experience it was my first time proper training lesson & I've never forgotten how kind & patient they were with us 10 year olds, truly unforgettable. Witty.Humorous Player Nicknames
The most apt nickname for most of the players in recent times would in my mind be EFFIN USELESS !

I'm hoping the club could do the right thing & honour Twitch with some memorial at plainmoor with the recognition he deserves. I realise everything nailed or glued down has a paying sponser attached to it these days, but some sort of plaque or something better would be a fantastic sentiment to Twitch. Here's hoping .

Excuse my ignorance but if Mr Gnabouyou was born in Marseilles which ,the last time I looked is in France, why does he have to wait for international clearance ? As a French citizen surely he is allowed to move & work freely within the European union ?
