I am doing my best on Twitter to bring it to the attention of the club/Herald Express that momentum is gathering for a boycott. I would suggest any like-minded fans do the same!!

The social media point is a good one. The club is using all the social media sites, so maybe a mass protest would be effective. We all know how fast a message can spread via social media....

Only choice in my opinion is to look to speak to him face to face whilst he is in the directors box on Saturday and let your feelings known. We are being treated like mugs and need to air our frustrations, whether individually or on mass on Saturday we need to push back.
I totally agree with the last two posts. We have to make our feelings known now. This is an absolute joke.

Also, the article in Devon Live today; namely 'Herrera determined to put stamp on squad' would suggest we won't hear anything anytime soon!!!

I just phoned the club again and asked whether there would be a decision this week. The lady I spoke to was very non-comittal although I doubt she is properly in the loop. I do think that we have a collective responsibility to put some pressure on because they are talking the p!ss now!! We are mugs and completely at the mercy of our incompetent owners!!

I do wonder whether anybody at the club follows the forum(s) It really is p!ss poor that we are still waiting. I have said this before, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this isn't resolved before the weekend!!

Amongst the list of top 30 leadership failings this one stood out to me in the context of what is happening at TUFC...

#13 The lack of a well-defined power of decision - men who SUCCEED reach decisions promptly and change them if at all, very slowly.

Men who FAIL, reach decisions, if at all, very slowly and change them frequently and quickly. Indecision and procrastination are twin brothers. Kill off this pair before they completely 'hog tie you to the treadmill of FAILURE'

Harrop, Osborne and co seem to be demonstrating high doses of this leadership failing - Kevin Nicholson was released nearly 3 weeks ago, it is hideous to leave such a key position open for so long. Perhaps Harrop is struggling to get any time in Osborne's diary with all his other commitments? From the outside it does not look as though a speedy resolution to this problem has been top of any agenda.

SURELY we will see an appointment today?

PS #17 on the leadership failings list also seemed very relevant...'Wrong selection of associates in business' :'(
I'll be surprised if we see an appointment at all this week....

Late & Injury time goals

This may have been covered elsewhere and is a challenge to any statistician out there. Any long-suffering Torquay fan will argue that we have conceded a disproportionate amount of injury-time goals to any other team in the football pyramid (including non-league) This isn't a new phenomenon and has been going on for years now. The inevitability of conceding late goals has been ruining my Saturday evenings for years now; I know I'm not the only one!! Can anybody provide any statistical data which shows exactly how we compare to our rivals with regard to late goals conceded. We must be right up there!!! I should be used to it my now, but it still manages to p!ss me off week upon week and season upon season.

I just phoned the club because I am getting very p!ssed off at the lack of information being relayed to the fans. There will be no appointment today; "every managerial search is unique" was what I was told!! I'm not entirely sure who I spoke to, other than to say he was male and I would suggest not just admin staff!!

Herald Express/Devon Live

My blood is beginning to boil about the lack of information filtering from the club. But more than this, I am furious about the 'soft journalism' from the Herald Express. The 'Deadline Day' feature yesterday was a damp squid and proves Henderson et al do not remotely have their fingers on the pulse.

Like many, I am extremely sceptical about GI and their motives. The Herald Express should be holding GI and Osbourne to account; we are being taken for mugs and they are doing fcuk all about it!!! There is an inevitability about Saturday's result, particularly if an appointment is not made tomorrow; I very much doubt it will be by the way.

Tomorrow's reports in the Herald will most likely be regarding the 'injury crisis' and the shite additions made to the squad today. I wonder whether they will provide any meaningful update regarding the managerial situation. Again I very much doubt this will get any coverage.

These are very dark days indeed and this is all very painful to watch unfold!!
