Dartford v Torquay United, 25th Nov 2023, 3pm
Dave, I was just at the game. I saw us miss an absolute sitter and fail to trouble the goalkeeper again after that. Our defence were incapable of dealing with their rather rudimentary and predicable play. We were that bad.

MOTM - Boreham Wood
Wynter - Defensively he's solid but he also gets forward really well, which was especially noticeable when Edwards came on. They were on the same wavelength from the start. He also almost scored a screamer from a good way out but was denied by the woodwork. Shaun MacDonald - He didn't have too much ...

Torquay United v Borehamwood 3/8/19
The substitutions changed the game, when was the last time we had the squad depth to bring on players who we know can fundamentally alter a team performance? We had the ability to switch things up whereas Boreham perhaps didn't. That midfield play at times when Edwards and Evans came was fantastic t...

The new season ahead
Just because Fylde are favourites it doesn't mean they will win the league. Billericay were something like 5/2 at the start of the season last year and look how that bombed. True, although Fylde's situation is far more stable than Billericay's as they don't go through multiple managers a season, do...

The new season ahead
Gary Johnson says in his post match interview yesterday that he is expecting to sign three signings by monday. I'm interested to read where in the opinion of this forums users, the team needs strengthening. Obviously i expect these players to be loan signings and will be first team regulars. who th...

2019/2020 Kits
They're already out. As the website proved to be a right faff, I just called the club yesterday and bought one over the phone. I'll pick it up on the first day of the season when I'm next in Torquay.

Play-off Winners?!
So Fylde have made the play-off final and Salford or Eastleigh await in the final. Fylde only attracted 1500 for their home play off match against Harrogate. Why oh why is the National league play off final played at Wembley when it will be about a 10th full. There are plenty of decent grounds with...

I couldn't believe that Regis started eight(!) games for us. I thought he played maybe three or four but I suppose that's the sort of impression he left. Seeing him get subbed before half time in the Woking game, you just knew he wouldn't be playing again.

Chippenham Town V Torquay United 19/4/19
We were very poor yesterday and I thought both sides were evenly matched, with neither keeper really being tested. As Neal says, the pitch was awful but we just couldn't adapt to it, with Davis and Wynter both trying to pass the ball down the channels along the ground. Time after time, however, the ...

Tickets for home games
An entertaining and nerve wracking game today. Feel very lucky to come away with a point. Anyone know what the crack is with our ticket system for home games? If I reserve a seat for where I want to sit on Saturday am I guaranteed that seat? It seems like a free for all on match days and I don’t wa...

I think the commentators said there were 40 something away supporters.Wokingham Gull wrote: ↑02 Apr 2019, 21:47 ATT: 2852, from Football Web Pages. Anyone at the match let me know how many Chelmsford. As that is a great yellow army turnout for a Tuesday night.
