Great performance on Saturday. The lads will be on a high, no doubt. However, whilst this should be a relative walk in the park ( literally it would appear ) it is a potential banana skin. GJ will hopefully ensure we don't underestimate them.
Looking at their results they have lost most of their matches by just one goal so they do have some talent. Confidence must be very low though . Let's hope we can capitalise on that and take the points. COYY !!!!!!

MOTM - Wealdstone
As said by others, it was such a good team performance that it's difficult to name just five and put them in order of merit. However, that said,
1. Essuman
2 Davis
3. Cameron
4. Edwards
5. Reid

Depressing in the extreme. Okay, so Keating is injured but why oh why is Wright not given the shout over Reid ?

Torquay v Aldershot match day thread
Putting this match in context, Aldershot, top of the league, won the last four matches, equal highest scorers. Not a bad afternoon's work. Onwards and upwards indeed

To all of you who predict a convincing loss, I say this. It's time our luck changed. I predict a 2-0 win with Sutton missing a whole bunch of shots and us slotting in a couple of half chances.

After watching the highlights of the Halifax match I have to say I was impressed that we now seem to be playing the ball on the ground and to the feet of our players. Looked like we could have had four or five. What I really did see was a massive improvement in confidence with players running into spaces to receive the ball. Bodes well hopefully. If only we could sign a target man.
Not sure we really need another defender especially one who might have injury problems. I guess there is a good reason but I hope it does not prevent us from being able to afford a front man.

Players who made you smile
Without question, biggest smile came from watching Rodney Jack dancing across the snow on a January night when we lost 2-1 to Watford away in the FA Cup replay. They bullied us that night for the win but couldn't get close to Rodders. Happy days!

I am hoping there will be enough adrenalin left over from Tuesday to keep the lads hungry for another win, So I predict a 2-0 win for the boys in yellow. McQuoid on 27 mins. and a screamer from Young on 49 mins.

Not pedantic Jeff. Spot on. Gosling will be out for a while yet. My mistake. But it does make you smile at the dilemma Owers will hopefully have when and if we have a fully fit squad!

Forgot to mention the pending return of Jake Gosling and Ryan Clarke. The squad is looking stronger thank goodness. Let's hope we keep everyone fit
