Paul Cox Appointed Manager
Appointing Chris Hargreaves and his team was a panic reaction which largely failed. Paul Cox has relevant experience and his appointment is a lot more logical. Forget the 'style' argument-- its not worth having. People respond to out and out triers and over the last few years that quality has not been much in evidence. I suspect it will now.

Consortium update
The Youth Academy if it is close has been closed by the crass stupidity of the F.A. They have contact with massive amounts thanks to Television rights but stop Academy support at League status level. The F A. want to take on FIFA but perhaps they also ought to consider how ineffective they are.
I don't blame the consortium whatever happens. They have already been very brave. They have to protect the club. The FA need to protect football at all levels and they are failing to do so.

It is really poor that the fans, the backbone of the club in the end, are given no real information at all. The small board promised to be communicative but they have chosen only to comment only when they have what they perceive as any good news. That in effect is the way the Communists behaved- manipulative news releases. If they are to get supporters on side Bill Phillips has to do what he said he would do and treat us as adults.

Club Ownership
I have to say I find the whole thing amazing. The lack of information from anyone now, the apparent lack of real concern from most fans, the fact that this the main fans website is so quiet at the moment. The only 'news' seems to come from a whistle blower somewhere in the club who only speaks to a London based fans site who most fans seem discouraged from joining. The press as well seem days behind in their reporting and seem to have missed the main story. The commercial manager ( who heads the only bid in town) has apparently said that we might have a 25% chance of going under. ( and in saying that is seeking support). That is disaster. This is a desperate situation. It is a time for real and frank information reported properly from all involved. It is a time for people to wake up and show real support but people will and cannot do that unless their some real information. Please can the true supporters be told properly what the situation is.

I disagree. Perhaps I was lucky but when I saw the guy he seemed to work hard but his touch for what ever reason had left him. If he gets fit he could still be a good conference player.

There is no such thing as a professionals goal. Ives seemed out of position he was then had his shirt pulled for three seconds. Ninety nine percent of referees would have seen it that way. For some obscure reason we get match officials who seem to go the extra mile to view things differently.

Let's be frank we are from the League they are from Conference South. 'Dangerous' they could be as you would expect from any home team but whatever the result we should be looking to have the balance of play. Yes it may well be a difficult season but we are a more professional club and we should be approaching every game in that way. Yes we will have shocks I am sure and this may be an 'inherited' team that now has to travel on match days but the teams who challenge most in this league will be those teams who go out on the pitch believing in themselves.

Three Central Midfielders?
It is and always will be the Managers call and I fully accept he must and will do as he sees it. I just feel we had our best spell last year when we had the lad on loan from Leicester adding an extra body into the thick of things.
