Disabled facilities
Dear All, Just to let you know there will be a collection tomorrow at Plainmoor at the Argyle match for the roof. There will be several disabled people from the Hollocombe Centre assisting with the collection. The fund raising is still going on despite the uncertainty at Plainmoor. All I can tell you is, a move, if it happens will be a few years yet and further, the structure can be dismantled and located elsewhere. Up to about £2000 so far and many more pledges. Thank you. Sam.

New kits
I know I am old school but I think away kits should only be used when there is a clash. There should be just one kit, the home one. End of story. I am sure more replica kits would be sold if they were applicable to away games as well.

Disabled facilities
Dear All, Just to let you know I managed it. Came 53 out of 57. Took 5.39.07 hours. I was the only Brit. Some didn't finish. It was really cold and I wore my Torquay United bobble hat all the way. Didn't see any bears Tomogull but plenty of reindeer. Amazing to think a bear could outrun Usain Bolt. Slept for 14 hours straight off afterwards. Not doing another marathon. Should have more updates for you regarding the roof etc. All the best. Sam

Disabled facilities
Just a quick update. I am off tomorrow to do the marathon which is on Saturday. I would say in total about £2000 has been raised so far not all of it coming through the crowdfunding page. The final cost of the roof is likely to be nearer £7000 instead of £10,000. The conjecture over the new ground hasn't helped things. However even if we stay at Plainmoor for another two seasons, I can't walk past those special supporters sitting out in the open in the rain when I am able to walk to my seat in the dry. Plenty more funds to collect, it will all turn out OK. All the best. Sam.

2016/17 SEASON TICKET AND MATCH ADMISSION PRICES ANNOUNCED
We sold 563 season tickets last year. At £280 that's £157,640. We need to sell 789 at £200 to make £157,800.

Guiseley v Torquay
I went - we made three schoolboy errors or else we would have won 3-2. No, we didn't let anyone down, this was still a reasonable working hard performance but we shot ourselves in the foot but still kept going and if it wasn't for a great save off Harrad would have been 4-4. Only problem was that with non professionals in technical area gives disgruntled Halifax fans the chance to say Torquay were treating this as a bit of a jolly. However, this was not the case and we competed strongly even though we made life very hard for ourselves.

CEO
Steve Breed has done a fine job. True, mistakes may have been made along the way but he has been steadfast in his undying support for the cause. He is one of the main reasons I would not knock the board. He is first and foremost a fan, let's not forget he ran the travel club etc. I could not see this man doing something which would harm the team he loves. Yes, he is emotional but hooray for that. I would rather have a CEO with passion and commitment and Steve Breed fits that bill. Well done Steve Breed.

2016/17 SEASON TICKET AND MATCH ADMISSION PRICES ANNOUNCED
This is good news. I expect they have done the math - I haven't worked it out but I expect the greater take up at £200 will wipe out the deficit for selling fewer tickets at the £280 last season.

Lucy sums the game up. A win for the Gulls and if Angus is going to get a yellow let it be from stopping them equalising.

Torquay United Top 100 Matches
The Barnet game. There were two remarkable incidents in this game which added to the greatness of the occasion and are often forgotten. First of all two streakers went on the pitch and a Barnet player tried to kick them but missed. I felt sure he was going to get sent off for violent conduct but he didn't. Secondly, their goalkeeper went up for a corner at the end, Barnet lost possession and their keeper literally wrestled one of our players in the centre circle to stop him scoring. I felt sure he was going to get sent off but he wasn't.
