Reading that Stefano - I can add that Lee Mansell had a 2nd 'job' whilst at Plainmoor - he was/still is an agent for Herbalife!

Part Time Club?
Assuming TUFC stay in this league for next season - or at worse get relegated into the Conference South - how long can the Club finances afford to cough out full time wages for a squad of players?
If finances are not healthy now, surely part time players on part time wages has to be a serious consideration for the future?
Discuss!

I would switch Eric Welsh for Scotty on the left wing and possibly put Alan Welsh in for Spratty as well - but apart from that you have a top-team there my friend!Trojan 67 wrote:1.John Dunn

Cedric Released!
I see Cedric 'deep pockets' Munslow has been released - having recently left the Gulls Lodge accomodation and the Acadamy Squad.

Spelling error on the official site as Will Hancok is actually the son of Richard Hancox
Nice to see a local lad doing well for the Club once again.

1) A fiasco because Radio Devon dropped the link more time than the England cricket team drops catches!!chunkygull wrote: Why a fiasco? Along with Dave Thomas these 2 are the best commentators on Torquay matches. I only heard a few minutes of this game but when I have heard Steve and Chris before they have been really good.
BUT..
You cannot be serious re Breed & Fleet!!
Whilst dear old Steve Breed sounds as though he is about to orgasm in his pair of over-tight trousers every time a Gulls player has the ball around the penalty area - Chris Fleet and his monotone Brummy accent sounds as though he is at a funeral at the local Crem!
And before anyone says "you try it then"... been there, done that, have the t-shirt - for local radio elsewhere.
Bring back the days of Richard Greene and Julian Gaunt I say!!, or maybe send the current pair on a commentators training course.

Interesting to note that during the Radio Devon commentary fiasco last week (Breed & Fleet?) - they remarked about the lack of advertising boards along the perimeter fencing!tomogull wrote: As far as I know, Dean Edwards is doing a decent job as Business Manager.

So Rob Stanley is still in charge of the stewards then - a shame he didn't get the job at Compton Pool Farm so none of this would have arisen!
