50th Anniversary-Torquay v Spurs-FA Cup Third Round.

I was there crushed on the railings by the corner flag on the old popular side, just under 21,000 inside plainmoor!!!, I will never forget that day & that late fight back . Robin Stubbs was & still is the greatest striker ever to play for us (IMO), anyway you can still see a clip of his equalising goal at white hart lane on youtube today, some goal that was in front of 55,000 + fans .
Still enough of back to the future ... COYG, lets get 3 points on Saturday ..

Re: R.I.P Reg Jenkins

Sad news indeed, remember him playing with Tommy Northcott just before we signed Robin Stubbs. Reg was a big favorite with the Rochdale fans, RIP Reg.

If we are talking Great keepers who played for us in the 60's we had Three brilliant keepers following Terry, first towards the end of our promotion year after Terry was injured we had Gary Mc Guire , who was brilliant but " fell out with Frank " , then there were two other great keepers Andy Donnelly & John Dunn, yes we were sure blessed with outstanding keepers over this period....

Re: Radio Commentaries

Totally agree with your comments. Is Alan Richardson a city follower ? , he really comes across as quite uninterested in our team in fact biased towards Barnet. I except we were not at our best last night but he gave us very little credit throughout & begrudged us the goal we had scored by constantly reminding us how lucky we had been!!. Lets have Julian Gaunt covering the southern games ..
