I’m just as pissed off as many others who saw the match yesterday, but I don’t for one minute blame Gary Johnson. I certainly wouldn’t have stayed in Blackpool, maybe that’s the reason you’re so pissed off.dawlishmatt wrote: ↑24 Nov 2019, 18:57 Having spent over £ 500 over the weekend, i, along with 2 of my grandchildren taking the train up to Lancashire to watch that rubbish of yesterday and spending the weekend in Blackpool, returning back to Dawlish at 5-30 this evening, I feel that I have every right to criticise Gary Johnson. I also had the misfortune to see the Sutton match but thankfully I didn't travel to Maidstone for the cup match. I'm sure that if anyone spent that sort of money to watch a performance like yesterday, they to would be p***Ed off.

Chorley FC v Torquay United, 23rd November 2019
If you’re looking for a reaction from the players on Tuesday then unless we get players back you’re kidding yourself. The team today was quite frankly abysmal bordering embarrassing. Duku is a complete waste of time. That performance today was shocking.

Torquay United v Sutton United 16/11/19
After the disappointment of last Saturday, I’m hoping for a monumental response. In my opinion Wokings run in the fa cup last season gave us the advantage of having points on the board compared to games in hand, so maybe losing last Saturday isnt a bad thing especially when you’ve won 7 out of 8 league games previously. From a personal prospective I’m going to this game with 3 work colleagues from Manchester so I’m hoping for 3 points more than ever. With the other top 4 each playing difficult games Saturday, it is possible we could be top of the league. In Gary Johnson we trust COYY. 2-0 Torquay

FA Cup - Torquay United v Maidstone United - ALL TICKET
As bad as we seem to have been today does it really come as a surprise, it’s the fa cup. Are we the only team to lose to a team in a lower league. Yes our injuries could have resulted in the defeat today, but let’s not forget this team has won 7 out of the last 8. Beat Sutton next Saturday which personally is more significant in my opinion we could be top of the league.

Re: Clarke Osborne
That is exactly what I was thinking.Plainmoor78 wrote: ↑05 Nov 2019, 19:16 It should be remembered that promotion to the EFL is worth around £600-800k. So yes, the impetus has to be on keeping Reid till the end of the season. Accepting something like £100k for him is just like cashing in a betting slip early when your bet is 5 nil up with two minutes to go.

FC Halifax V Torquay United 2/11/19
Fantastic win today against a very dangerous opposition, they never gave up. We could quite easily have won this 8-4. The game was so open and equally some bad misses that should have been put away. We where so exposed on the right side. But overall we fully deserved the win, and we could be top after the Sutton game. The support today was a credit

If I’m honest Sako tried too hard today to be a messi, a few more games and he will be sorted.

Big 6 pointer this one. Win we could be 2 points from 1st place, lose it could be 8. Nice to see we won against Wrexham without playing that well, that’s what wins you championships. Nothing to fear on Saturday we just have to play our game plan. Will be nice to catch up with the Yorkshire contingency again. 2-1 Torquay

This fantastic win makes the league table a nice watch. It’s a marathon not a sprint, just look at Woking. A massive win tonight.

Sako is back, 5 wins from 6, and not only have Wrexham played in London Saturday they will not be happy with this fixture so soon on a Tuesday night and they are under pressure as they have massively underachieved so far. Only Torquay can mess this up, 3 points please before we travel to Yorkshire. 3-1 Torquay
