Re: League 2: Torquay United vs Wycombe Wanderers

Re: League 2: Torquay United vs Wycombe Wanderers

With 2 very toug looking games just gone, we were thinking we were going to need 6, or at least 4 points from those games just to still be in the play offs. I agree automatics is probably gone (I'd rather go up in the the play offs due to finances/excitement!) but in terms of our play off shot, we h...

I will be with 2 shots fans and another gulls fan, would love to have a larger contingent of Torquay supporting friends!

Re: Torquay United vs Gillingham

Just looked at our next 4 fixtures. Now I know it doesn't work like this as a Torquay fan, but, after today, the next time we play a league game, we will have quite a few games in hands over lots of teams, due to a full fixture list next Sat (FA Cup for us) nd a midweek game the following Tues (We d...

Re: Stockport vs Torquay Match Thread

I suppose this highlights the beauty of football. I was also sat just to the right of the goal, and it looked like a clear pass back to me, whereas the goal I didn't see until it went in. Anyhow, you are right, with the passback and offside decision (which I couldn't see from my vantage point!!) goi...

Re: Stockport vs Torquay Match Thread

I wouldn't say siiting directly behind it from the stands points to you having the same view as Bevan, as he wasn't in the stands and had a group of people in front of him. Also saying that you didn't realise it went through someones legs means you didnt have a clear view of the incident. The perso...

Re: Stockport vs Torquay Match Thread

I am surprised at the negativity from some about Saturdays game. It was only my second game of the season, and it was bitterly disappointing not to win, but I though for an hour we played some really good stuff, and for some reason or another after we scored it seemed to fall apart a bit. Even so, S...

Re: AFC Wimbledon v MK Dons

Living in London, i would probably be up for going and supporting AFC, as I won't be getting down to Plainmoor for our game. There was a documentary on Football Focus ( I think) not too long ago about what would happen if these two met in the league next year or the year after and the AFC supporters...

Re: Mr John Salako

I dont get to many games these days, but I'm assuming that its the same group of morons who were completely embarrasing at Barnet last year. Instead of supporting the team, which almost everyone will join in with, they got into a pathetic slanging match with a group of school kids, and were singing ...
