Re: TUST

yeah I see that; just commenting that things don't look particularly active at the moment judging by the reports. But well done for finding it! There is a phone number on there if SBG wants to pursue it...& in the public domain, not private !
'If any of the above is of interest, please call me on 07967 446 428 or email on [email protected].'
I was actually wondering if the roof for the disabled section (mentioned in another thread ) might come within the remit, but obviously not if the set-up is defunct ?

Re: Bristol Rovers last day of season

Of course we will be! And let's hope we have a sell-out of all the home tickets too to have a fantastic end of season crowd celebrating the continuation of league football in the Bay!!! I was asked which cloud I was on when I said that we were staying up after the Oxford game!!

Re: Torquay United v York City 23/3/13

That's assuming that the York players can get down here through the blizzards then! And the amount of rain we're getting in Devon, who's to say that the pitch won't be waterlogged ? Gotta love this winter, must be gearing up to be the longest one this century! :(

Re: Eunan's comments.

:scarf: :scarf: Dunno. The Club can't or won't say, therefore speculation is rife. We keep being told not to concern ourselves with it, just to support the Club as much as possible in our relegation battle. I'll get on with that then! COYYs ! :scarf: :scarf:

Re: Torquay United v Chesterfield - 19/3/13

The corner that Brucie can't see is the willingness to FIGHT BACK that we have displayed in the last two games!Recently at Plainmoor we have seen capitulation, & it's not pretty. As many others have said on here,it's exciting to watch the team trying again! I want a win as much as anyone else, & hoping that I see it tonight! We're going to miss Billy; Gus isn't doing so badly in defence. Joss will be up for another goal, & I'd love Rene to score in open play, but I'll take a penalty kick if necessary! :scarf:

Re: 241 ticket offer

I always used to go in the Family Stand (only started attending regularly again in the last two seasons; just occasionally for quite a while before that) ; but then I used to be a Mini Stander! Now I'm a fully-converted Bencher!

Re: 241 ticket offer

It's for the Family Stand cos that's been almost devoid of atmosphere since they opened Bristow's Bench. They had a three-Tuesday-nights offer in the Family Stand as well recently. Last season that stand was completely full for most matches cos all the season ticket holders were crammed in there; this season, most of them are very comfortable thank you on the Bench. They're just trying to get a better response behind the goal, as well as to hopefully improve the gate & tempt more people along for the future.

What it will probably be is:

We can still get into the playoffs - do your best xxxx

Re: Fans getting angry.....

just picked this up off Wikipedia :After helping the club avoid relegation from League Two during the 2009–10 campaign, Zebroski scored 438000 league goals[citation needed] to help the club finish seventh and reach the play-offs the following season.
Love it ! Can we have him back now please? 438000 goals in the next 10 games should just about do it I reckon!!!!!

Re: What went wrong ....

:scarf: Totally agree that the club need to make an announcement about Martin Ling; speculation is rife, I'm amazed that it hasn't found its way to the football rumour sites. After the Oxford game, there were quite a few supporters hanging around as well looking dispirited; every group I passed, I said 'We're NOT going down', & I got quite a few suggestions that I was drunk, or on a cloud, or worse! I do still believe that we can stay in the League, but it's all got to turn around pretty quickly! The Board showing some solidarity with the supporters to confirm or disprove some of the managerial stories that are going round from seemingly reliable sources (not just Yellowsmiffy's steward!!!!!) would help to explain some of our woes.
