Torquay v Braintree TUE 17th
I propose that at 9pm tonight we light up our mobile phones and hold them aloft and sing "There's only one Thea Bristow". She deserves a "thank you".

Barking, bonkers, nuts, loony......I've been called all of these before. Life is more fun if you are a little bit mad !

What can we do in memory for Thea
I think I was reading this thread more as "what can we do to say thank you to Thea". I believe that Thea deserves a huge thank you from the fans for all the money she has given to Torquay United. It's good manners. I would like it to be something purely for a very kind lady and not muddied by other issues. This is why I suggested the flower thing. Torquay fans can show their good and appreciative side.....

Torquay fans can sing "There's only one Thea Bristow" at all the remaining games and bring a yellow daffodil which can be waved around. Imagine 2000 yellow flowers all being held up to Thea in thanks. It is a simple gesture and one that can be achieved.

I also think Louis is looking leaner and fitter. Which players are looking fatter ? I'm quite certain that Gareth Law keeps track of all the players weight and fitness levels.

Thea Bristow to resign
It would be good if all our fans made some vocal noise of thanks to Thea in all our remaining home games. "There's only one Thea Bristow......"

Torquay v Chester Tue 10th
The Chester fans were singing "you're ground is too big for you". This was a miserable sound and must have been heart breaking for Thea. If you care about Torquay United then please keep attending this season. The club needs its fans more than ever.
Just a footnote, but I believe Duane picked up an injury during the Wrexham game and that's why he hasn't featured since.

Is Hargreaves fit for purpose?
Well said SG. I've been thinking the same about The Barnsley expert. A while back he actually posted "training counts for nothing" after I had expressed a wish that he could watch Greavsie take a training session and see for himself that Greavsie is a top coach. Training counts for a great deal in my book.

F.A Trophy semi final 2nd leg v Wrexham
Hope the players have stronger nerves than mine. I already feel very nervous..... I want to wear a lot of "yellow" but part of me is saying "stick with the same and the lucky socks". It's all nonsense, but I bet a lot of you are thinking the same!

Torquay Vs Lincoln City - Tuesday 24th
Blue sky, cold, dry and windy this morning. Think the game will go ahead, unless we have loads more rain this afternoon. Hope the players can find some good form. I believe that Torquay can beat any team in this league and the standard is pretty much the same for all the teams in the conference. Looking forward to the game tonight.

Eastleigh v Torquay
Eastleigh has got a lot going for it as stated above and there are lessons to be learnt, but I do object to SG's sweeping statement "your kind of attitude ( referring to Brucie) is replicated through a fair size of our fanbase"
