Gary Johnson, stick or twist?

I believe with all the football manageering talent here on this forum we have nothing to worry about, it will only be a short time before we can hire one of you technical experts. Sadly i know you have never had your day in the spotlight and have all never been asked to manage Premiership teams but that must be a severe oversight by the powers that be. :)

Retained List 2022/23

Nick Potkins wrote: 15 Jun 2022, 09:56 I don't have any issues with our players joining league clubs, I wish them well and further it helps promote our club. Sadly, players leaving for teams in our league annoy me, with the exception of Ben Wynter who was always going to relocate back to the London area and was a fantastic servant for many years.
:goodpost: Totally agree, its a shame that our other local clubs can't loan us players. The quality we had from Argyle in Randell was superb.

Bromley v Torquay 9th Oct

Did we spend too much last season pushing for the glory land? Are we now suffering the hangover of that and have a very small budget? Why do we struggle to attract good quality players, do they view Torquay as a dog hole?

What are the issues that need addressing? Why are Andrews and several other key players not getting game time?

Tickets for games

Hi all,

Just purchased my tickets for the Altringham game and found that my usual browser Mozilla Firefox has issues with the system. Tried again with Microsoft Edge and everything went through all ok. So for the few that have issues please try another browser and this may sort things out.

Play Offs

We also had a 15 point lead and then once again the opportunity to take top spot. Long gone are the days of the National League being tinpot clubs. We are a proffesional footbal club with a manager who has and should be leading a league team.
We also don't have a team of green eared semi pro's so yes i do expect better. How long do you believe the owner is going to bankroll our push for promo back to the league?
There have now been two years of the same issues with injuries at key times and that isn't down to bad luck. The 12 games undeafeted means nought when its against bottom of the pile teams whom have been beaten by most teams around them.

Play Offs - Hopefully wont be relevant

It’s a shame some of our fans are like this. I always think some people seem to want us to fail.
I hope you don’t bother taking Up someone else’s space at the semi final and hopefully final.
Do you go to every movie, theatrical performance, stage show or band concert and walk away thinking that it was absolutely amazing every time? We have been woeful and if not for some superb keeping by Covolan lost quite a few more games.
Countless times we have been left ball watching whilst other teams get back and defend in numbers preventing us from scoring. Our injury situation hasnt helped but have you asked why the players are taking so long to return?
Did Sutton have the injury problem like us and if not why? Can we only recruit fragile or aged players?
The teams we are about to go up against are in form whilst we are still relying on luck.

Injury update?

I didn't think Whitfields injury was all that bad but to be out this long is ridiculous. These last few games will be the making or breaking of the season, c'mon Gary let us know if any of the injuries are due to return please as we are missing them.

Saturdays games

OK then teams should have to play with the squad available to them, if they have COVID cases and cannot make up a full squad then the game is forefit and the team with a full squad takes the 3 points. With the 2 hr tests that are available now all team members are screened prior to playing to stop players playing with COVID.
