Since the Bristow stand has been built I found a friend in Roy Creber who in his younger days played football and table tennis at a high leval. Roy has been not been well for years but attended his beloved Torquay United every home game and was really happy when United escaped relegation last season.
On 26 April this year Roy passed away after this very long illness. When Roy was to ill to attend I popped in after the games to tell him about the games.
There is a minutes silence for him on Tuesday and I thought I'd just let the forum know who he is.
Roy was an architect and designed The Ship Inn in Preston (Paignton) amongst a lot of other buildings in the Bay but I thought you would all know the The Ship Inn.
He was a true supporter.
