At least he tried for us. It's the players who offered nothing whilst here but then scored against us that really grated. Karl Hawley's 200% strike rate as a prime example.

I'd put money on him scoring. Always seems to happen.

Does this mean we get our 5k Compensation?

We have a very small amount of wiggle room in the budget, what we need is experience (as Cox has said), nit a young winger who puts in a lot of effort but has zero end product. Best thing for TUFC is if he gets a contract somewhere else and we get £5k for the privilege.

Let's wait and see who the trialists are in tomorrow's match at Brentford; could be revealing as to who could be leaving.

So bring back Ernie Pym! (one of United's true greats).

Retrograde step in my opnion, it rarely works going back.

I'm always of the "don't want to be here, see you" elk but it's not just that. I think we are all agreed that Cox is starting from the base line and any success will be down to him and the boards hard work. We just don't need someone who feels there better than what we have.

He knew what the risks were and to be fair players are always going to try and capitalise but he had a job and dint want it so no thanks

He had the chance to return when cox became manager, I doubt cox would have him back. As stated earlier we want players playing for Torquay. Ajala, does not meet that criteria.

We could do with you a gullscorer. I played against Ernie Pym 1964 against Torquay.

Cox would have to ask himself is the 3-5-2 system working if it is Toby would not be wanted but Cox decides to change the formation Toby would be a good option.

brucie wrote:Well it isn't going to happen but dropping Exodus and playing with a back four with Murambadzie and Ajala on the wings would give us an infinitely stronger team in my opinion.
Well yes and no. At the moment the long throws of Exodus have led to us scoring goals directly from those throws ins, and despite every team knowing there coming, those long throws are still one of our main goal threats as no team can defend against them for 90 minutes.

Until our squad has a more strength in depth, I'd leave Exodus in there.

Added in 7 minutes 33 seconds:
Agree with the sentiment in the post by Richinns. Remembering that he wanted to leave, we now have to ask ourselves if Ajala came what sort of player for TUFC would he be, I think the reason why Ajala has not found another club, may be more down to his personal demands being to high, rather than a lack of talent.

Ajala would arrive back here with his tale stuck firmly between his legs, would we get the level of performance, maybe, maybe not, would he be as committed to the our cause, highly doubt it. Should he play at the same level, would Ajala come the end of the season be champing at the bit, to take the first contract offer with more £££ than TUFC can offer, almost 100% certainly, he would.

Please forget him, not worth it at any price.
